@damprumpan shaq fu has a really bad reputation, and the character design is strange (characters are way too small). Actually, though, it's not that bad of a game and the character designs are pretty badass, and the story is just stupid enough to be awesome. It's one of those games everyone loves to say they hate, but most have never played it long enough to realize it doesn't deserve the bad rap it gets. I gotta say, though, it certainly does reek of the 90s insane commercialization of the NBA.

I loved it as a kid. I played it really much when i was a kid. of course i also played the real hits like super mario, zelda and metroid. But this game is just so nostalgic to me. Of course, its a bad game actually but then ending theme just means so much to me. Also, when was a child my mom always told me that ultraman would take you to heaven when you die. When my gramps died i kept asking my grandma if she saw Ultraman. That was before i realized Ultraman was as big as a skyscraper.

What I saw when playing the game is that it had good ideas but were not exacuted well. Waiting for the super bar to fill just so you could kill the enemy could have been modified to when you lower the enemy's health completly you could use the level four super anytime at that point.

It's bad, but not so bad I would never play it again.

cmon guys. this game is actually good, once you get used to it. it is not street fighter, or mortal kombat, so dont expect it to be. its more like punch out.

the moves are stiff and its like playing as an action figure for lack of a better way to describe it.

you have to watch your enemy, learn its AI and counter using your moves, uppercuts, spin kicks, and of course flying karate chops.

this enemys look cool and no 3 fights are the same. give it another try thats all im sayin.

You need to choose the level of ultraman's powers. Level 1 does not kill the monster. U must use level 4 of ultraman's powers. Anyway dont bother playing the game. It sucks so bad.

To beat an enemy in that game, you reduce an opponent's health to exactly 0 health, wait for your energy meter to get filled out, select your strongest special attack, and fire your strongest special attack while your enemy has exactly 0 health. This is the only way to finish off any enemy in this game. Can we say 'messed up gameplay?'

I was so happy when I saw Ultraman in a game back in the day... but then I played it. To this day I still cannot figure out how to kill Gudis. I was so heartbroken by this.

Also, I don't know if this guy can't read or something, but it also says that Gudis is 80 meters, making it a giant and a monster. Turns out most things above 75 meters are pretty fucking heavy.

I had this game when I was a kid. The graphics seemed OK for it's time, the controls were a bit slow, and the story (if there even is one) seemed too overly simple. It's basically 10 plus levels of Ultraman destroying monsters.

To me,it doesn't deserve to be compared to Street Fighter because Ultraman isn't a "true" fighting game to begin with.
