I used to use the black paint brush and lower it's opacity. ^^ I'll try the burn see if it works better...

wow i really luv this oÖ how do you make the shadow ? Oö and when you color this how do you make it that you draw under the outlines ? oÖ

@XxMewMewTheKittenxX I use a program called "GIMP" and it has a tool called "burn" where wherever you draw it makes it darker for a shadow or you can get the reverse effect and make it lighter. Also for drawing under the outline, I use "Layers". basically any advanced drawing program has them. Just where you have an outline on a transparent layer and you make another layer, put it under the outline layer so when you draw you can draw underneath the outline and it makes it way easier. =3

now that i've had time to watch the whole thing, i HAVE to say that i LOVEEEE the way you did the shading with the brightness/darkness... that was really cool and it brings a whole new dimention to the piece... WAY TO GO :D its magnificent.
