I think there may have been something wrong with the most recent batch... My local shop recently pulled them all off their shelves noting that there was a problem
@Rhong187 thats very interesting and would make total sence. because i was thinking maybe i had a bad ottle, but a bottle doesn't go bad after that short of time i had it.
I had this on tap when I visited "Two Guys on Beer" in Philly three years ago I remember it being pretty good (assuming it was this beer and not another brewery's beer that uses the same name). I dont remember it being 9% though.
@ChadzBeerReviews yeah their the exception to good beer in a twist off cap, not the norm...i looked it up after. it is a company out of new york, contract brewed by lion brewery.like bomb lager
@jjrudy41 that makes me think the beer I had was by another brewery, just by the same name.
Whenever you dump a beer people start telling me to review it to find out if it really is that bad if it's just you, LOL! Since I'm a good judge of IPAs I might pick this one up just to see for myself.
@ChadzBeerReviews possible. rate beer had three different beers listed with the same name...feel free to review it. I told Greg, and he was like maybe you got a bad bottle cause he liked it, that is possible cause i had it for like a month before i drank it, and offered me another one... maybe if i get another one we can review it on your channel. but yeah i was not a fan at all...
Yeah every time i see a twist-off cap my eyes roll back in my head.
Your not afraid to give your honest opinion, and thats why i watch you.If it doesnt live up to Jays standards, that shit get raped and poured down the tubes. And i think that is cool.
@tiltomatic1 yeah your probably right. i also tend to not like beer that have cartoon characters on the label i tend to like more classic looking labels.
@jjrudy41 Yeah. I reveiwed it a while back and had the same thoughts on the twist off caps. I however think i had a fresher bottle than you because it had a really great nose. The taste in no way matched the nose. It was downright plan average and forgetable.
@Rustocaps i did think since my bottle was older that could play a part. but at same time a month old beer shouldn't have gone bad that quick. so i still thought even if a fresher bottle would have been better, i still don't see this beer being that much better.

I don't think you're being snobby by dumping this. If you don't like it, don't drink it. You're just being honest. Good review.

@tiltomatic1 thanks. glad a few enjoy the honesty...

When I see a beer with an especially interesting name, such as this, red flags begin to sprout up. Sounds really bad and I don't think I'll try it.
