Abortion is legal during all 9 months thanks to Roe and Doe. It sounds like Roe made it possible for a state to outlaw late-term abortions, but that's not the case. The same day as Roe, another case, Doe v. Bolton, defined "health of the mother" to include all factors-physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman's age. Because the court defined health so loosely, a woman can have an abortion for any reason and at any time during her pregnancy.

i love how in 2:27 Obama refers to either McCain or himself winning the election whenever there are other presidential canadites up for the election. He is stating that point as in he will win. Obama makes me sick.

As to all the pro-choicers out there -- even Barbara Boxer voted for the BAIPA when it was before the US senate.(it passed 98 - 0)

But Obama couldn't bring himself to support it.

clip cuts off right before McCain brings up the Born-Alive Infant protection Act -- which Obama put himself at odds with.

Obama replies; if it sounds hard to believe I voted against abortion surviving babies getting medical care that's because it is' -- but then admits it's because he felt that the bill threatened Roe v. Wade, (which it didn't because that part was amended before he voted against it).

Sigh. The republicans need to stop abusing the deep heart felt beliefs of others. Abortion is no longer up for debate. Pro-choice is the right to choose. Plain and simple. You have no right to make a choice for someone else no matter what you think about that choice. The republicans need to put this one to bed. Stick to politics and stop abusing the beliefs of good minded Christians everywhere. You are NOT the "party for chrisians" you are a political party that should have no ties to religion.
