No the extended cabs were not an original SVT product. Full Effect in California converted some to extended cab when the Lightning was first introduced. All of the others are non SVT truck made to look like Lightnings.

I'm curious, when did Ford SVT put out an extended cab lightning? I noticed the one at 0:54.It may have been convrted to a lightning, but you can't sell a 94 shortbed 150 owner it is a factory built.

god i love these trucks so sexy i love the 92 to 96 ford f150s i am the proud owner of a 92 sb reg cab 5.0 5 speed 3.55 gears in the rear with trac loc a decent built 5.0 with mustang bottom end and frpp b303 cam stock heads and intake but fucker will rip to 5 g on tach just all around good truck

No such thing as a lightning in an extended cab. Supercharging started in 1999 with the second gen.

lightning were from 93 to 95 then 99 to 2005. gen 1 351 windsor gt40 intake and heads. 4:10 gear. i like both styles i had a black 93 and brother had a red 93. then he sold for a 2003. mine got stroked to a 408 with aluminum heads and aeromotive fuel system. never completed it money got tight gas was 5 dollars a gallon so i sold biggest mistake i ever made! currently looking for another.

the 99 up had 5.4liter 331 i think with a eaton supercharger. very good trucks with easy power to be made. cheap fixer uper add a kenne bell or whipple easy 500hp or more. my 93 had a 250shot of nitrous.

And its not cheap to build a gen2 its fast but not cheap! And when the stock block goes kaboomb its alot of money to upgrade to a better block,rods,pistons,heads,cams,­ect...

Just the Ford Racing block,its self is about 4,500

I didn't mean like cheap cheap like you know and i wasn't sure if it was 331 or 345. not 2005 i know that i was confused ford built that heavy piece in 2005. and svt said it was too heavy and didn't make the lightning no farther.

what i mean by cheap is mine was a 351w spent loads of cash on getting it bord and over 3k on the heads prob after everything was said and done fuel system alone was well over 1,000 dollars injectors alone was like 500 from summit or close to it.

yea i found out that my truck is a 93 f-150 but they took it to okallah florida and customized it into a mark 3 flareside with step side and hand rail and it has a 5.0 mustang engine

I love the Ford Lightning. The 94-95 were kinda light in the rear though. The engine power was great. The newer ones are geared just right.
