  • I had fun watching you have fun.

  • i did this dance last year for history! (we were studying the roaring 20's)

Thanks a bunch for posting this!!

  • clap clap clap !

  • could you do a tuturial on the basic charleston step? thanks

  • Perfect dance. I love the 1920s, especially the music. Flapper dancing and those dresses were great. Wonderful job on learning that dance routine so well.

  • EXCELLENT!

  • Is it hard to dance this to faster songs? Like the Charleston song?

  • Just incredible. To quote John Lennon, "I just love this HOT KIND OF MUSIC"!!!

  • YEAH I put the song on my iPod...happy days! I have most of the dance down!

  • This dance also goes great with Charleston by Bob Wilson and His Varsity Rhythm Boys. It's my favorite Charleston song. You can buy it on iTunes. I turned the music in this video off and played my song and it matched the beat really well, I think. Just a thought^^

  • Wow!!!! I'm so learning this for Halloween! The one thing that's really hard for me is the feet sliding thing and the knee cross thing....but it looks SO fun!! The only thing I can do in the Charleston is the kicking!

  • How is your tap-dancing these days? :)

  • this helped me with coming up with a dance for a "chicago" performance i had to do in drama class!

  • I always kick stuff in my house when I do it, need a nice open space haha xx

  • Oh yes!! And it's hard work! Thanks for the post, I am glad you enjoyed. x

  • Yeah, it's just so fun and you look like you're having fun too :D I dance this at Jazz Clubs and I'm picking up some useful hints :D Thanks again and keep flapping xx

  • :D :D Wow, great stuff love the timing and you're outfits fab. Btw what is the music you're using? xxx

  • Hi, the music is "Flapper Rag" Sid Phillips & His Band from "The Music of Sid Phillips"

Glad you enjoyed, was a lot of fun! xx

  • this is just about the cutest thing i've seen all day~ nice legwork, lady~

  • Great job!

I have to do a Charleston for a history project and I have never danced before ^^

This video helped alot thanks XD

  • Wouldn't it be a great world if everyone practiced the Charleston in their bedrooms on a daily basis? :D

  • Thanks for lovely comments, I put on Youtube so that my performance group can practice in their bedrooms too! - (My tap dance is awful, but I am working on it!)

  • Absolutely brilliant. Could you tap dance for us as well?

  • This is totally cute! Thanks for posting.
