@Blackhawk23x I been trying it on medium, and I can't pull it off. I got 2 problems, If I try and get a nydus in their base in any single corner, they spot it instantly. The other problem is defending as zerg. I use spine crawlers and the anti air cannons, but is there anything else I can do to solidify a good zerg defense while building an effective offense?
best defense is a good offense. If you see in the video he attacks my roaches and lings and backs off. When he backs off I go through the nydus worm and kill his economy and eventually win
@Blackhawk23x pretty sure drones get pulled off minerals to attack anything you build in their base, like nydus, at least with the most recent AI. lots of strategies like this don't work against insane AI anymore I think.
@Wubnig Any strategy can beat an easy computer, you could even just mass unupgraded lings and still win. There's a reason they're called easy computers, it's because they're easy to beat no matter what you do.
This was just a strategy I used for fun in the first week starcraft 2 was out. Just testing out the different races and noticed this and thought it was cool so uploaded some videos on it
this video is good.... but this approach is definitely not viable online against real people.... unfortunately to be good online you have to do 2 things.... hot key and rush... the only viable way to win anymore is by hot keying everything and rushing the enemy as fast as possible... can't tell you the last time I got in a match where high tiered units were even made
@matrix6977 I was referring to the fact that rushing and losing only happens in low level play. As you get higher you learn to prevent said rushes and games go longer in which higher tier units get units such as these.
The effect is because if I don't do anything to the video I might as well just crank out videos without putting thought into them If I don't. It would take 2 seconds to pick a song and put the clip on youtube. Also I think it looks cool so I do it.
decent strategy but its only this effective against complete noobs that let u scout that close to their base and also don't notice the nydus burrowing near by.

I did 24 ultras earlier on easy with the ai just to test the nydus system. It was fucking insane. Didn't even have to tech them.

Learning to scout and playing a bit more passive (and expanding more) will make a game go longer and make those higher tier units a lot better.
