i don't think they were that rich before youtube. i mean, check out the places that they shop (not to hate on the places, since i shop there too!) but they do most of their hauls from forever 21, marshalls, etc... not too hard to do shopping hauls there if you save up some money. :) they practically never do videos about expensive clothing stores like bcbg, guess, etc even tho they may have a few things from there. blair even said that she works 2 jobs to get her stuff.

@pkundu89 and at least they do something that's actually kind of useful on youtube. they do all sorts of design tutorials at cheap stores, and elle has also started talking about healthy eating and advice from her nutritionist. (it's like getting free advice from a nutritionist!) they don't JUST make useless/not-funny videos about them rambling on about some issue like some of these other weird kids on youtube. not to say that all their videos are useful, but at least some of them are!

Yes they do act very fake, they do endorse things that arent right, I wouldn't trust their opinions on products they get paid to promote, and being homeschooled to make beauty videos was really just a way for Blair to escape the real world, which I'm not for either. Only jealous people get angry and absorbed in other peoples lives, critiquing them for all the things they do. Good grammar might help your case, as well. I think the reason everyone is so upset is because often times people confuse "happy" and "bubbly" with "simple" and "lacking substance". At the end of the day though, we are talking about makeup and clothes. I don't mean to downplay the industry, I LOVE BEAUTY but what do you expect them to talk about, politics?
