  • I visited the Tiger Balm Garden both HK & Singapore. HK is free of charge Singapore a little bit expensive.

  • The government fails to see the potential of tiger balm gardens in attracting tourists when it is free, it tried to commercialize it and when it failed, demolished it! Most youngsters would believe tiger balm gardens are a white elephant but isn't museums white elephants? how many visit them anyway? But should be kept because they contain something rare.

  • A spectacular and full of Hong Kong history landmark ! The Tiger Balm Garden was gone for good ! How can the Hong Kong government let this valuable heritages disappear and the developers can get away from murder ?

Full of Hong Kong history? What Hong Kong history?

Have you been there? If anything old represents Hong Kong history, then I don't know what's not. Not that I distasted Tiger Balm, but I really don't see the value of this coarse, eerie, chilling, far-from-being-good taste place except that it had a not too short history. Honestly I did not like going there when I was a kid back in the 1950s.
