my death adder glides just as easy on my 5 dollar mouse pad as that one o.o and it grips better on the table hasn't moved once, and its actually a bigger pad too, i think i got a good deal

the characteristics of this mousepad may be very good for some people, but the pad wears out VERY quickly.

the surface is just coated, it's not the actual plastic.

It can blister of.

When I got that pad, there where air bubbles between the actual plastic pad and the surface, probably because the package heated up at transport.

That tipped my off that it is DESIGNED to wear quickly BECAUSE the characteristics of the pad are soooo good that people will buy it anyway, most likely multiple times.

Im new to PC gaming and Im just playing TF2 on an adequate laptop. No frame rate issues, set itself up for high settings and its as smooth as a nub would need. I'm happy to say the least. BUT! Im using a junk mouse pad from years and years ago I found in my closet and a cheap wired mouse. It works, but would spending some money give me a slight edge while learning? Im a consolefag and I kind of just jumped into playing on PC at random.

ive used my destructor mouse pad for a few months. it doesn't glide like it used to. the surface used to be pretty textured, and now is much smoother, making it more difficult to move your mouse on it. any suggestions on how to revive it? this also happened to my vespula mouse pad that ive only used for a few weeks. i guess these mouse pads don't last to long.

maybe over a very long period of time, but i used the Razer Salmosa and Diamondback 3G for a very long time with littile wear in the feet. I would think that the Lachesis would be the same

Any surface will wear down the teflon feet on any mouse out of 2 materials being in contact and traveling so there will be wear, but the hard surfaces will wear it faster, one of the reasons i moved toward cloth and the feet last a lot longer, also its silent compared to hard surfaces, but this is more a user preference.

did you find out the best skates to get for your mouse on this pad? i have one and a razer mamba with theflon feet and after 3 weeks of playing some quakelive it wont glide in the middle as smoothly as on the sides.. :(.

The destructor is made out of an almost plastic material on the top. So if you were to clean it with water, you could just wipe it off and keep playing. I can't find any cases where it caused damage to the mousepad.
