As for dragonforce sucking for having similar sounds, you must not listen to much music, especially metal, a fair amount of metal is generic and sounds very similar, especially in the same bands. so you should really get a bit more info before spouting off like that

If people just don't like DragonForce, thats fair enough. But what I hate is when DragonForce are clearly talented and people just slag them off for sounding like DragonForce. People can say what they like but DragonForce are good guitarists and they are very original in what they do.

There are good reasons to slag off Dragonforce. The main two;

1) all they can do well is solo

2) they can't solo live

believe me, i have been, A gig watching dragonforce is a waste of your well earned/ill gotten cash

First off they can do more than solo well, as apparent by their music and decent fans, and second, how is saying they can't solo live a good reason to slag off at them, they can't because herman and sam are either drunk, or because their licks are too fast to play properly live, in the studio they can redo them and break them down, live, they can't, therefore it's really not possible to play their stuff live properly. You can't really judge how sloppy someone is based on their studio album. Its their live performances. Sloppiness is more excusable though. What really turns me off with Dragonforce is their repetitiveness. Maybe their aim wasn't for creativity, but my taste in music requires more variation.

Actually, I really don't like Dragonforce all that much. I like Ibanez for the JEM series and the RG series. Dragonforce's guitarist are sloppy and their solos get repetitive.

I can realize that they know what they're doing and still think they suck also...

Dragonforce is a good band, though I've heard Herman and Sam can be pretty sloppy live. However, it's true that the aforementioned bands aren't even comparable to DF. Some god bands would be Blind Guardian, Bal-Sagoth(Band they got their drummer from, Dave Mackintosh), Judas Priest, maybe some of Metallica's earlier works. Oh, and to answer why they omitted that part of the song, well, they cut huge sections out of it for the music video in order to make if flow better.
