  • Amazing!!!

  • Beautiful playing. Such control. A demonstration in fantastic musicianship.

  • Wat een topper. In ieder geval niet zo'n iel cornetgeluid. Komt erg dicht tegen trompetsound aan. Helemaal goed.

  • ohh thats look pretty, ithe blue colors on stands.

  • The man has chops...

  • fantastic what a musical performance. Nice controled vibrato although the sound is to trumpet like really.

  • Look at Carlton playing at 1:06 on the left!

  • Is this family of thomas gansch?

  • @sjoek11v his brother...

  • Hans Gansch - ein großes Vorbild - a model for many....what else !

  • im looking for the sheets from this song

    somebody some suggestions?

btw great song always listen this when im testing sound in a concertroom and put it a litttttle louder than normal;)

  • Pure class:D

  • Amazing. is this from the BIC contest?

It's a shame that the restof the Brass band band movement is so set against change, or these guys would wipe the floor at the Euros.

  • No, it's from the EBBC 2005

  • That's just not true.

  • Hilarious. I too believed cornet soloists could only perform their solos while sitting on a washing maching during the spin cycle. Hans Gansch has proven us both wrong.

  • Schon gewusst ? Hast keine Ahnung

  • jaja unsa hansch gans ^^

  • hey, great video. I play most of this by ear but im looking now for the sheet music. Can anyone direct me? cheers...

  • I love that tone !

  • Oh my, that is beautiful. Philip Sparke, you write such amazing music. Hans Gansch, everyone needs to hear that tone.

  • love it.

  • he is the Peter Roberts from Austria...their appereance is really identical^^ The brassband is amazing!

  • He's much better! His sound is great and he plays everything so easy...

  • Wow. Amazing tone!

  • I prefer the first half, its full of expression

  • Superb! I loved the slow opening, but I found the end a little fast, it is only marked crotchet = 160 which suits the piece well! In any case, this is no criticism of the fabulous playing, Hans, you are truely a master!

  • I don't really like this piece but his playing is amazing! And yes, he only plays schagerl instruments. I can understand him. :)

  • I heard them also live in 2005, also this piece, and now at the Schagerl festival in Mank in Mai 2008. Sick!!!

  • i heard him at the schagerl festival too! he played with the "austrian brass connection" and with the "brassband OÖ".. they practised half a day and in the evening they played the concert and although hans gansch played perfectly ! he is amazing!!!

  • it`s a yamaha! I sat behind him and almost forgot to come in it was so damn good!

Hans has a Schagerl cornet now, don`t know what the rest of the guys are playing currently.

back then we got a bunch of yamaha instruments

    as sponsorship

  • Hans Gansch does only play SCHAGERL trumpets and cornets, but the other players have yamaha (xeno and professional) ;-)

  • they are going to play in vienna at "Haus der Begegnung" in FLoridsdorf for free!!!! 30.4.2008

  • Fantastic player!!!Listen his cd with Hofs,AMAZING!!!

  • congratulation for excellent palying.

somebody knows what is the titel of the piece, arranger?

    thank you,

  • it´s called "song and dance" and i think it´s from phillip spark

  • Sehr sehr gut. That's a 5 from me.

  • This was played at the European Brass Band Championships in Groningen (the Netherlands).

    I was there.. :D

  • thats the OÖBB(oberösterreichische brass bans), thats not in the brucknerhaus, i think that was in belfast on the brass band contest...

that´s not right that he only plays schagerl! i know that he has played on yamaha and bach too!

  • Magnificent!!!!

  • How Warm my heart feel!

  • where is this played? in the brucknerhaus?

  • What is the brand of the cornet played by Hans Gansch?

  • i think it's Schagerl, but don't know :-(

  • It is schagerl. Hans only uses Schagerl. and so does his brother Thomas Gansch

  • it is a yamaha cornet, the new xeno, schagerl does not produce cornets!

  • dont lie to me.

  • I also think it's a yamaha cornet. I also ply a yamaha cornet but not the xeno.

  • yes, they do..

  • genius! I dave a dream..... To play the Trumpet like he does!

  • Wonderful playing all around

  • Soprano playing on a Schilke?

  • You can see where Thomas got his talent from.

  • ummm...Thomas is Hans' brother. Wouldn't he have gotten his talent from their father Johann?

  • Absolutely right!

    My mistake!

  • I listened again and this is WONDERFUL

  • He's my idol!

  • GREAT

  • Very nice indeed :D

  • Bravo Hans!
