Hilarious. I too believed cornet soloists could only perform their solos while sitting on a washing maching during the spin cycle. Hans Gansch has proven us both wrong.
Superb! I loved the slow opening, but I found the end a little fast, it is only marked crotchet = 160 which suits the piece well! In any case, this is no criticism of the fabulous playing, Hans, you are truely a master!
i heard him at the schagerl festival too! he played with the "austrian brass connection" and with the "brassband OÖ".. they practised half a day and in the evening they played the concert and although hans gansch played perfectly ! he is amazing!!!
Amazing!!!

Beautiful playing. Such control. A demonstration in fantastic musicianship.

Wat een topper. In ieder geval niet zo'n iel cornetgeluid. Komt erg dicht tegen trompetsound aan. Helemaal goed.

Amazing. is this from the BIC contest?
It's a shame that the restof the Brass band band movement is so set against change, or these guys would wipe the floor at the Euros.

No, it's from the EBBC 2005

Hans has a Schagerl cornet now, don`t know what the rest of the guys are playing currently.

Hans Gansch does only play SCHAGERL trumpets and cornets, but the other players have yamaha (xeno and professional) ;-)
