een valse is een wals. een musette is een andere muziek stijl, meestal een dans. Deze is ontstaan in 17, 18 honderd. Karakteristiek aan deze dans is de notitie die in 3 stemmen gebeurt,de ene stem is meestal een voetklavier of een orgelregister (meestal laag), aangezien twee de anderen vaak in canon zijn of tenminste in fuga-stijl. De musette zorgde later voor de ontwikkeling van andere dansen zoals de gavotte. De musette staat ook bekend om zijn gevarieerde herhalingen.

ik heb zo'n CD liggen waar ook dat nummer van giel beelen op staat. Daar staat ook een musette op die heet valse maar dan swing valse die heeft er wel wat van weg...

Er staat ook nog iets bij met living at manouche.

Ok overall playing is good. BUT

Accordion isn't just instrument to be played with, you must dance with it, so to speak. Accordion is instrument that must be expressed with, like violin or piano, or marimba.

Bon morceau, interprété avec une finesse absolue. Juste un petit conseil, il faudrait manier cependant le soufflet avec un peu plus de souplesse. Mais le niveau est magré tout élevé félicitations. Je suis aussi accordéoniste clavier, venez jeter un petit coup d'oeil à mes vidéos ! A bientôt !

What does "musette" mean? I looked it up in a dictionary it it says "a small bagpipe"...

I think in this context it refers to a late 19th century waltz dance which used the accordion.

it is a style of french accordion music.

it's one of teh sounds possible on the accordion where the reeds are detuned slightly to produce a modulation in amplitude.

and there are two musette bagpipes. the musette bechonette. invented by a man called bechonette it has a chanter and three drones in octavces and is bellows blowen

the other musette bagpipe is the musette du coer which was popular amound the french aristocracy. it is also bellows blown and was very complex. the four drones were folded bores contained within a shuttle and i t ahd two chanteres. one of them sounded constantly and another which only sounded when the keys were pressed.
