@divineoblivion1 I know it wasnt a real question :) but i think it has to do with the way zerg looses.... its either like 1. BAAAAM nothing to do now but gg, 2. Oops tech got sniped. 3. Terrain abuse 4. early air being succesful, 5. Hellions? poooof no drones and so on.... its all about when defence for zerg fails in the beginning and if it fails it looks really like zerg just took a huge beating with never really being in the game. Thats what triggers the "boohooo op race" thing i think.

The whole community is pissed at this, were hoping to get them in HoTS....because in beta lurkers were tits. And hydras arent used like they were because the structure and style of the game is different from broodwar...hydras are more of a glass cannon in sc2

@EmuSnacks Lurkers were cut because their role overlapped with Banelings, and they wanted people to use Banelings. People don't use Hydras because they're not very useful. Their BW role was basically taken over by Roach, and they're higher tier and somewhat gas intensive, yet easily countered and they don't really have much tactical value. Plus, almost every single Terran unit beats them cost-for-cost.

Protoss high tech units deal insane AoE and have tons of HP. Brood lords have just 250. WTF? There's a lot to complain about, but some people make the units work very well. @EcksdeeProductions infestors arent OP. they got nerfed, slow move speed. fucking slow off creep. ghosts & HT counter them nicely. they are big slow targets that glow the players color. they can be countered quite easily. and saying that zerg is 'balanced' because of infestors, all i can say is fucking lol ,you arent a zerg player and probably gold at best. zerg is the weakest race.

R u kidding me? When one race generates a new strategy that is seemingly "Unbeatable" the other races scramble to adapt to the new strategy. Their are strong units, counter to those units, and then all around good units. sc2 is a swarm it evolves and adapts. Soon in like a wee or even up to a month ur going to be bitching about how overpowered zerg is. In a week or even a month the balance of power will change. Read the book Prey and apply it to the way u see sc2.

@KaiserKieran i dont get what point you trying to prove. i dont see how in a month how zerg could be OP. For one, zerg is terrible at regenerating  health points. Protoss has shields that regenerate quickly, and terran can repair / medivac. zerg can't really heal fast. they regen their HP very slowly. Surely you have Queen transfuse, but you would have to mass queens just to regen HP at the same level of T & P. maybe when the heart of the swarm comes, it can make Zerg balanced a bit.

this is what i'm talking about. for instance each race has it's own unique ability. You talk about how zergs health doesn't regenerate fast. A zerg unit regenerates .27 health per second. Sure thats slow but if u made all zerg units regenerate fast than it would become too cheap. Extremely unbalanced. Look at protoss if u hit their armor they cant get it back. At all. Sure terran can heal and repair however many ppl dont see that repair costs mins and gas.
