Hey dlambersom...fuck you retard. Why does someone have to post a video to recognize shit? You don't have to be a concert pianist to know someone fucked up a piece. You're a douche.
Do you think that maybe your opinion is in the minority? I really liked this piece adn the performance. Now take your foul mouth and juvenile intellect and go away.

Holy CRAP you fucking deaf reatrds!!! Are you fucking kidding me!?!?!?! That was fucking terrible! Man, get a grip you assholes. You don't have to slobber over EVERY video. Try some fucking honesty.
@homerboy488 honesty is one thing cruelty for the sake of belittling someone is truely ignorant ... this is a talented young woman she sings nice has a lovely musical spirit .. and as u see they were having fun music is supposed to be just that fun and pleasing to yourself first and if this pleased her and her friends by doing it then this is simply fantastic try using some kindness in your critiques it goes a long way towards displaying human decency
damn the guitarists are always so good in this group. I need to start playing this kind of music. It seems so much more interesting, especially the chords and rhythm. Just don't know where to start though . . .
Something I failed to notice/mention in my last comment: Adam's guitar interlude. It rocks my socks off the charts. Yes, the sock-rocking charts. You'd have to extrapolate that shit.
I'd just like to point out that normally, I can't make it through this song without getting a little verklempt. I thank both Janet and Mercedes for making it fun enough that I could do this! I also love Legrand and Demy; I absolutely can't make it through either Parapluies or Demoiselles with a dry eye. C'est impossible!
Thanks for all the kind comments. It really WAS as fun as it looks!
That's my favorite movie of all time (Umbrellas of Cherbourg, the source of this song, that is!!) Mercedes channels Chet Baker!! Adam channels the Gypsy Kings! Great job!
Oh, nice, Paul!!! My favorite movie of all time is The Young Girls of Rochefort, which in a way is its sequel! Have you seen the one that came before those two, Lola Lola?
Personally, I think the trumpet fills and percussion sounded great. And I like when Adam came in on vocals-- your voices blended excellently. Keep 'em coming!
Je suis d'accord. For some reason I got chills when Adam came in on vocals. (Did the vent over my desk start blowing?) And Janet again rocks, even when hidden behind the tiny band in the anonymity that drummers are often forced to assume.
lol, i'm starting to think you grew up like me. i went to band, learned the trumpet. my mom and dad played music with each other and sang, banjo, guitar, piano. now the brothers who are all over about 12 in my family play the guitar.
mercedezzz, you're playing another instrument. Haha, way to go!!! I always enjoy your performance and your general sweetness :) Hope you had a great weekend!
just some people having fun making music - what more could anyone want ? nice job
