One was the express train, which was the (4) train, and the one I was focusing on was the (6) train that runs local.

ohhh, one last question, how much time does it takes to go from one station to another?? I'm just comparing the one from my country to this one.

its pending how far it is. For the (6) train, its a minute to get to the next stop after Grand Central, which the next stop being 33rd Street. and then for the (4) train, its next stop after Grand Central is 14th Street/Union Square, which takes 3-5 minutes, pending on train traffic ahead

@lelefro54 IT TAKES 2 MINS TO GO TO THE NEXT STATION IF ITS AND IF ITS AN EXPRESS TRAIN SKIPPING MULTIPLE STOPS IT TAKES 5 MINS AND IF ITS GOING INTO ANOTHER BORO WHICH MEANS IF THE TRAIN IS GOING FROM MANHATTAN TO THE BRONX OR BROOKLYN TO MANHATTAN IT TAKES ABOUT 3 TO FOUR MINS !!! I HOPE THAT HELPED U ... AND I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I COUNT EVERYTIME IM ON THE TRAIN DONT JUDGE ME ITS BETTER THAN LOOKING IN PPL FACES LOL

I think he/she means the door opening thing. It's not a glitch, though, part of the safety mechanism. If anything is trapped in the closed doors they automatically reopen, I think.
