I missed the first Cal Jam '74, still in Pearl Harbor. Hawaii tries to get into the 'big concert' series by putting on "Hawaii Summer Jam", now THAT ONE, I did make it, and I have proof, for my picture appears on front page of local newspaper, and I snatched it as soon as I saw it.
I was at the show and I had seen Black Oak 4 times before this and they were by far the best LIVE SHOW I have ever seen and I have seen all the bands that was around from 1970-1990 and they are still the best LIVE BAND that there was they were ahead of their time and paved the way the more popular bands some are still around there is only one JIM DANDY and one BLACK OAK rock -n-roll one time.Bobby R

I went to that concert. Tickets were like ten bucks. Just awesome. Black Oak tore it up.
