This is Liverpool in the area. Long live the scally urchins.Free concerts..remembering the good old casual days..When fans were terrified of coming to Anfield/Goodison
Ian and his bandmates at their very best. Has echos of Jim Morrsion's "The End" (The Doors) and Ian Curtis' "Transmission" (Joy Division) - both songs worth a listen. EATB - The songs you gave us still burn so many years later. Zimbo, Zimbo, Zimbo, Zimbo, Zimbo....
@nevets4ever Joy division and the bunnymen are my 2 fave bands, but I think this sounds more like"the eternal" by joy division, not tramsmission, but it does have a doorsy end feel to it.
This version of Zimbo is beautiful, this wonderful song going through my senses, is a beautiful performance, thank you very much for share this video.
Ian McCulloch cuts a less fragile looking figure these days. Have seen the latest Echo live a couple of times over the past two years, and he now has a bit of a Liam Gallagher swagger and, even, menace/malice. Anyway, the latest Echo is a very impressive live band and, like the Pixies, this is one reformation which hasn't been an embarassment. Plus Echo have released lost of fresh material since 1997. More power to Ian and, especially, Will, and to the rest of them.

brunocomolli 4 years ago

Saltar? No podes respetar una opinión sin agredir?
Gracias por la corrección.

And Ian playing guitar!
I'm so glad I saw the Bunnymen as many times as I did back when the original lineup existed.
Sigh.
Thank you DrCheese!
