  • seems a little... weedy. but everyone has to have their own path i guess :)

  • guan is the correct word in chinese, dojo is in japanese.

  • Sweet! I've been wondering what the chinese would do with a longsword.

  • 2 handed sword came to the Mantis styles with Master Hao Heng Lu, who created "Ba xian jian" and "Damo jian" in Mantis family in the middle of 40th.

This form you can study in Beijing from Ma Weijing laoshi or in Hamden US from Ilya Profatilov.

  • Ahah Boris, it's Ma Weiling.

Sifu will be disappointed if he knows u forgot his name. ;-)

  • Didn't the original founder of Tang Lang Quan create his own " Way of the Sword " ?

  • are there any dojos that could teach me this in america?

  • @NinjaLlamaFilms hard to find one though in a small area but if you live in ny or whatever and look carefully then yes I guess you could find one but it's rather annoying living in a country dominated by MMA KMA and karate it really doesn't give us much of a choice since commercial schools are more common

  • I can see: Grace, Clearness, Calm, Technics and Essential movements, I like it!

it will be the next two hands swors form that I want to learn.

  • A 2 handed sword in action. Thanks for posting this!

  • other than being two handed, what's the difference between this and a jian?

  • thank you for share i L O V E this :)

  • Ceremonial and training swords, designed for practice, are different from war swords, which are designed to win.

  • Wushu swords that are used in competitions and public demos are not real weapons. Real swords are much heavier and require more skill in order to handle them.

  • Amusing... cute... and very, very, very breakable.

I like the final salute though.

  • nice very rare

  • i would like to see the knights of england and people with highlanders to take on the cinese broadswordsman

  • That kind of cultural mishy mashy, battle royale, determine the ultimate swordsmen thing never goes well. Too many divisions in this divided world, I'd rather see matches between competent warriors, independent of style, etc.

  • The fact is there are many style, each with their own merits.

  • in certain environments they'd win,in certain ones they'd lose.

  • Never this one before, I'd like to learn it! Awesome, thanks for posting this.

  • Never seen mantis sword forms before. Interesting.

  • Hence the term "unique and different from others".

  • It's Meihua TajChi Tanglang from Pekin, Ma family lineage

  • cool
