  • This country makes me think of another corrupt country uhhmmm what wasd it a...? America THATS IT! good going putin you fucked russia so bad that its nearing the 'America status'

  • This corruption is not entirely on Russia...fraud happened here in the states more then once. Ike for one, Gore another etc. Regardless this needs to be stopped, it doesn't prove gov is at the core but it shows incompetence. Fire those responsible - let the people in on the truth and move on. I believe this is taken way out of porportion in our media but no matter its disgusting and must be dealt with. I support UP, I think they're out for good and this is just another matter for them to tackle.

  • The most important thing is for the Russian people to take practical steps to fight this level of corruption. Those who are making efforts already: keep going! No country will ever be perfect. The odd dodgy deal goes on in every country. But a few well organised, practical procedures before and during election time could well help. Obsession with political theory will do nothing. I admit I am not native Russian, but have taken an interest in this issue, and listened to Russian blogs.

  • I was actually surprised that so many russians want fair elections. I guess previously as long as most liked United Russia, they didn't care if they cheated.

  • *SORE LOSERS*

Only the Communists did well. And the Western corporatists sure as hell don't support them. Those corporatists are upset that the Russian people didn't vote for their preferred candidates.

    *SORE LOSERS*

  • I only wish as a relatively young democracy, Russia and Russian people can pull through this very difficult time.

  • i am guessing putin will try to export the frustrations of the russian people into the US/EU. But there is no formula against the People!

  • pure circus

  • Holy shit someone put one vote there before it was allowed! The whole elections results must have been false!

  • @ljlassi This was a pretty wide fraudulent election. There are things called newspapers you can read which tell you what's going on in the world. Look into them.

  • @mondezdurden Yes i looked into them, but didn't find any proof from any real large scale frauds. Of course there were a lot of falsifications, but it was not anything so big because United Russia got only 49,5%, if they really controlled the election system they would have made it a majority. This was probably in the same scale as the fraud which George Bush and his friends committed to get him elected for his first time.

  • @ljlassi The ballots in question for bush numbered a total of 400ish; here it is estimated that 11% / 14% of all ballots submitted were fraudulent, and if the amount of people in Russia that voted was 52 million – do the math. Plus I would love to hear your explanation on how United Russia secured 99.5% of all the votes in Chechnya and after counting the ballots it turned out that the total number cast exceeded the population of Chechnya by a couple of thousand.

  • @ljlassi Even if United Russia got only 49.5% of the popular vote, he still got a majority of the seats in the Parliament. So to answer, he did get a majority as these elections were controlled.

  • @boris4c I see. But the real problem isn't election falsifications but lack of real opposition. At the moment they have only commie party and United Russia with its supporters (like liberals), so there really isn't a lot to choose from. And i personally think United Russia has been doing fine job and at least done its job better than what Communists would do in the modern markets and geopolitics.

  • @ljlassi

There is Yabloko right? that party looks quite decent. The parties are there, it's just the majority of the russians having little acces to independent media sources and not having the intellectual capacity or motivation to think and talk about politics.

  • @Yetze I see. Personally i think Yabloko is absolutely too west-minded. If Russia would join European Union that would be a total doom for Russia, im Finnish and even here many people think we should break out from EU.

The reality is that the old west is good east is evil thing has changed so that the west is evil too. Democracy in US is a bad joke, and they are attacking independent countries in a fashion which would leave even Josif Stalin cold. And EU is becoming the same or even worse

  • @ljlassi

Maybe there are some iddues in the US, that doenst mean that the US democracy is a big joke. Obviously a large nation with many people has more issues than a small nations with vast amount of natural riches like Finland. Last time I checked the EU did not invade any country, just some minor interventions during the Yugoslavia crisis. Post war US interventions like the gulfwar and afghanistan can be justified, but Iraq was an obvious mistake. This does not imply democracy has failed us.

  • @Yetze Sorry, but you should study the subject more closely. The problem with EU its rapidly becoming a federation led by Germany, France and Goldman Sachs. We have the debt crisis which could be easily solved - but they are just making it worse and demanding more and more integration, which would otherwise be fine but we are supposed to give our sovereignty to France, Germany and EU bureaucrats instead of democratically elected parliament, which is going to lead to something like in US.

  • @ljlassi

I'm afraid you are the one missing the point here. Economists and the market both demand more European integeration, for it is known to be the best solution for the current crisis in the Eurozone. The problem is that some countries like France you mentioned are unwilling to sacrifice their sovereignity. You wont find many professors who disagree that the solution for the current crisis is European integration.

  • @Yetze You do find. They just aren't allowed to publish their opinion in Wall Street Journal. Actually most of university economists say theres only two solutions which are either massive money printing or kicking countries with credit problems out of euro.

But the real problem is that the "markets" have gone totally out of control after the deregulation in 80s. Its totally impossible to satisfy them as about 40% of all private capitol/property is in hands of 120 companies (a Swiss study)

  • @Yetze Continuation to the comment below... The thing with integration is that if done properly its a good thing but it doesn't help with current debt crisis, as if we cut money from richer countries it means they go into recession, and may soon even have problems with their debt.

What you should also note is that there are people who would love to see the United States of Europe (the bankers), and they own the money and mainstream media here in west (its noy conspiracy theory, its fact).

  • @Yetze Only thing which is anymore better in US is living standards, which are also going down rapidly. In other areas its the same as in Russia, but there the government knows the art of propaganda (ever watched Fox News?). Problems regarding US are so complex i cannot describe them here but i encourage you to take a look at infowars.com. Information there can be pretty stunning and theres a lot of speculation, but if u take a look at the sources you should find out whats really going on

  • the ballots were found in the voting bin, before anyone has voted.

  • Subtitles:

  • 1 00:00:02,119 --> 00:00:4,119 Young Man: Are you filming? 2 00:00:04,119 --> 00:00:06,119 Camera Man: Filming. 3 00:00:06,000 --> 00:00:12,000 Young man: Look, we are recording the video. Show the camera, that there are already voting ballots. 4 00:00:12,000 --> 00:00:15,000 A Woman: Vladimir Mikhailovich, Vladimir Mikhailovich, are you listening?
  • 5 00:00:15,000 --> 00:00:16,000 Vladimir Mikhailovich: Yes. 6 00:00:16,000 --> 00:00:20,000 Young man: Look, we have bunch of ballots. Show the party name on the ballot. 7 00:00:16,000 --> 00:00:26,000 A women (sounds guilty): No party. They are all blank. Provocations..... (I think a woman is trying to convince people that the ballots are blank, and the whole scene is artificially created) 8 00:00:26,000 --> 00:00:27,000 A man’s voice: No!
  • 9 00:00:27,000 --> 00:00:29,000 Young man: for party United Russia 10 00:00:29,000 --> 00:00:31,000 A Man (I guess is helping to close the box): Vladimir Mikhailovich, It’s ok. The issue is clear. 11 00:00:31,000 --> 00:00:39,000 A Woman (in black and white): One second, we will figure it out. That’s it, take it away. Take it away. The rest of the video is the argument between two groups, if the box should be moved or not.
  • Дайте народу атоматов блеать

  • The woman who tries to put a seal on it is a bigggg fraudulent bitch for the puta Putin maffia!!!

  • The majority of Russians against "united Russia "

  • An hour before the beginning of voting in a box for sheets with voter lists was a lot of completed ballots with votes for the party "United Russia". On the number of falsification of the election of the illegal

  • fraudulent elections!

  • Please make english subtitles

  • @MrAnthonyCH those who are supposed to watch, do the fraud themselves.

  • @alexvkk I wish I knew Russian well enough to understand, but I know that many Russians are tired of the corrupt society. And I hope that as many papers has written, that the "Internet" will bring concerns to light. I also hope that more people can join the struggle, and find strength from others and themselves to demand a fair election. I do not believe the people are corrupt, but many have been misled.

  • @MrAnthonyCH well we can hope only for the internet. otherwise..... papers are in smart journals that ppl tend to NOT read. and our wonderful federal TV does not say a thing against whoever is in power at the moment. and also most stuff is written in english and so lots of russians can't read it. oh... this is a problematic country.

  • in russia politicians vote......... themselves
