Hi. I have two digital pianos in mind: yamaha P155 and roland FP7F. I heard that the roland has a better key mechanism, but is more expensive. Wich would you choose?
I live in Europe so I wont buy it from you, to avoid shipping cost, and i read here that you cannot ship outside of usa. But event thought it might not mean much to you, I do appriciate the demo's your post up here, looking for a new Digital piano, these tutorials give me an idea for the piano's in my pricerange to tryout at local instrument shops.
hi, thank you for your great demonstration. I actually want to buy a digital piano from kraft music and since i can't feel the touch my self, I want to ask if this piano has a better touch and touch response close to real piano than p-95 since or cp 33, in other words. could please tell me which one has the best touch among these pianos? since they meet my budget , thank you
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha P155. Due to our dealer agreements with Yamaha we are not allowed to ship outside the U.S. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Yes, you can plug headphones into the P155. Doing so cancels the on-board speakers so you can practice quietly. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha P155. The P155 features a fully weighted progressive hammer action keybed. This is the improved Graded Hammer Effect action that's found on nicer Yamaha digital pianos. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Dave, I am pretty sure you have answered this elsewhere, but I am wondering EXACTLY what Kraft Music does to get the audio quality in this video from the p155. I bought a p155 from you guys recently and LOVE the keyboard itself but am finding myself quite frustrated with the complexity of recording audio from the DP. I even have an m-audio interface. Is there someone specific I can contact with knowledge on this topic?
The P155 speakers sound quite good. They offer plenty of power for home practice or small solo performances. If you want to fill a larger space, or perform with a group you will probably want a keyboard amp or PA of some kind. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
@kraftmusic Thank you... I will be using it as a home piano and I was just making sure you weren't using an amp in the video that made the sound better haha.
The P155 is a much nicer digital piano than the P85 with an improved piano action and sound quality. The P155 also has more onboard sounds and features. The P95 is basically the new version of the P85 with a few small improvements. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
The fact that Mr. McCullough takes the time to answer our questions here says a lot about this company's work ethics.
I purchased my CP300 from KraftMusic a year ago. I will also purchase the P155 --for my girlfriend-- very soon from them.Their deals and costumer service are hard to beat. A simple search on any of the reputable reseller-rating sites will prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.
I decided to buy the cp33 from you guys and I was amazed at the bundle offert you guys had I mean it came with FC3 Sustain Pedal, On-Stage KS8291 Stand, On-Stage KT7800 Bench, On-Stage KDA7088B Dust Cover, Audio-Technica ATHT22 Phones, PA3C Adaptor all for just one more dollar!!!!!!!!!!and the other bundle with two speakers and all the mentioned above---great service great quality best bundles----you guys are awesome
Hi Dave I am really interested in this piano but I am also interested in the ypg635...which one of this two pianos would you reccomend me for a person like me that wants the most realistc sound?
Thanks for watching. The P155 is going to have a more realistic piano sound and action. However, the YPG635 features many additional sounds and features (strings, orchestral sounds, drums). Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
I think a powered sub would definitely help give these monitors a little more solid low-end. You can always make adjustments to the sub if you find it to be too bassy. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
I think the HS50s are the nicest out of the three you mentioned. I own a pair of HS50M monitors and use them in my recording studio. I find them to have a crisp, clean response with solid bass (for a 5 inch woofer). Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
I think that using a CP stage piano with studio monitors sounds like a fine idea. In general, external speakers sound better than internal digital piano speakers. However, people like the convenience of onboard speakers, as the piano and sound system are one self-contained unit. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
hello, Dave. if you would have to choose a digital piano for playin' with bands etc. you would choose which yamaha piano?? i'm looking after P155 and CP33, which one you thinks its better?
Thanks for watching. These two instruments use a very similar piano sample, so the instruments would sound about the same when played through headphones or a PA system. The CP300 has larger, more powerful built-in speakers so it will sound louder and fuller when played through it's speakers. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Thanks for your interest. Yes, all of the products and digital pianos we sell are brand-new, factory sealed instruments. You will receive the full 3 year manufacturer's warranty on the P155. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha P155. I would say the P155 definitely has a superior action and piano sound when compared to the PX330. It also has more powerful built-in speakers and has better warranty coverage. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Thanks for your interest. You'd probably want to take a look at Yamaha's newest stage pianos, the CP1 and CP5. These stage pianos feature Yamaha's new NW stage action that utilizes a wooden key and simulated ivory surface. I'd say this new action is superior to the action found in the P155.
Thanks for watching. The Yamaha P155 has a nicer action than the Yamaha P85. The P155 uses the more realistic Graded Hammer Effect key action, whereas the P85 uses the Graded Hammer Standard. Also, the P155 has more sounds and more powerful built-in speakers. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
That's correct. The only difference between the three P155 models is the color of the cabinet. You have the P155 (Black with Mahogany trim), P155B (Black with Ebony trim), and P155S (Silver with Cherry trim). Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Hi, we are considering the Yamaha P155 and the Roland DP990. Primarily looking for excellent sound and action, not as concerned with different voices, cabinetry, etc. We'd also like 3 pedals so our daughter can learn to use them. Any recommendations in comparing them?
Thanks for your interest. The Yamaha P155 and DP990 are both excellent digital pianos. However, the DP990 has an improved piano action, more powerful built-in speakers, and includes a triple pedal board. The P155 only allows for two pedals to be connected. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
@kraftmusic May I ask what has better sound and touch between the arius ydp 160 and the p155? thats all im looking for.. I dont really care about the different sounds. Id really appreciate if you answered my question... please :(
Thanks for your interest. The Arius YDP160 and P155 share the same Progressive Hammer action that Yamaha uses on their mid to high level digital pianos. The touch of the two instruments is very similar. The sound quality is also comparable, although the YDP160 has larger, more powerful built-in speakers. The YDP160 will be louder/fuller when played through the speakers, but will sound about the same through headphones. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.
Well, it depends on what you are looking for in a digital piano. The P155 has a nicer action and better features, but is only available in the slim-line portable design. The YDP140 features the more traditional, furniture-style cabinet. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha P155 digital piano. It looks like we have a few of these instruments available. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, or if you'd like to proceed with an order. Thanks again.
Thanks! I already have, I ended up back-ordering on Wednesday through Scott Collins and I think they came back in stock on Thursday. Mine should be here tomorrow! I absolutely cannot wait! I even ordered an FC3 pedal to go with it. Thanks so much, you guys have been great. =)
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha P155. The differences between the P155 and the P85 include an upgraded piano action, more sounds and features, an improved speaker system, a USB flash drive port, and 1/4" audio outputs. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Mine came yesterday. This video sold me not only on buying the piano but on buying it from Kraft.
What I didn't know until I was about to place my order was that you were in Franklin, the village in which I lived from the age of 0-8, many eons ago. And where first played piano. What are the odds that 40+ years later, from nearly 1,000 miles away I just happened to buy a piano from a store in Franklin?
I would kinda like to get something like this for my mother. She plays piano and organ and has just recently got rid of her organ because it is really old and has a lot of problems. The main thing I'm looking for is something that feels like a piano and not a keyboard. My mother never uses keyboards and I think she would prefer that real piano feel. How does this digital piano compare to the feel of an acoustic piano?
Thanks for your interest in the Yamaha P155 digital piano. This digital piano features Yamaha's progressive hammer action which means the lower keys are a little heavier than the upper keys. This accurately simulates the feel of an acoustic piano. The P155 one of our most popular digital pianos and we have had a lot of positive customer response regarding this instrument's action. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha P155 digital piano. The P155 features 1/4 inch outputs that are perfect for plugging into an external sound system. Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions or concerns.
