I think the lower grade R6 looks better, am I werid? haha. Anyway, if comparing R1 to Mv Agusta F4 or Ducati 1098, I feel like the R1 looks a little plain..
kinwai27, that's funny because the new ducati 1098 front looks just like an R6 ripoff. The new R1 is not my favorite litre bike (Gixxer1000 is) but it sure will kick the shit out of the Italian competitors both on the track and on the sales floor.
no this one is perfect i have one its black and red but the glitch is the 1998 model till 2003 they fixed it and if any other is glitch its cause the handle is to loose you have to tighten it if it does that

You should consider the Throttle Glitch that Yamaha is refusing to fix. There is a video of it here on youtube: Yamaha 2007 R1 Throttle Glitch.
The bike is certainly beautiful, but Yamaha didn't do a great job building it.
