There's just something lacking here. Laura Bell and Sheridan were brilliant since they had some kind of energy on stage that drew you to them. Bailey didn't seem to have that. That, and they pitched the song a lot lower to fit her range and it's not as fun and poppy as it was in it's original key. Poor girl. She only got a few months on the show and didn't get a chance to grow.

@razzlesthepup I didn't say she had NO talent, just that for a professional singer/actress/dancer she wasn't all that good. And I do think she isn't that bad, but I just don't think she's Broadway material, this performance looks like a regional performance. Honestly though I didn't like most of the other girls on the show. The only one I REALLY like got kicked off the first episode. I think they were just looking for someone not groomed for Broadway but she just doesn't cut it, in my opinion.

i like Bailey, she's a good Elle but unfortunately, I really do think that it was kind of a mistake to make it a contest as to who the next elle woods would be, its a demanding role both acting/vocal wise and should have been given to someone with more experience, not omeone whose never even been on a broadway show before. I wouldn't have minded her doing the national tour but to go from not ever being on broadway to playing a title role is too big of a leap.
