  • In fact, people may know certain things, but they will not act unless they have proof. Julian Assange/Wikileaks has given proof which could seriously jar governments and how they work. It could potentially end corruption and it can definately alter public opinion and politics as they work today. So, no, Wikileaks is not irrelevant. Many things need to change in the US and in the world. So stop parodying something that should be taken very seriously. Because Assange's death threats are very real.

  • I like the drink Icetea :P

  • Awesome video, bro... just great

  • How can the U.S. prosecute the wiki leaks guy under U.S. law, if he is not living nor is from the U.S.?

  • @poisonoak23 exactly

  • It's like asking you something my brother was talking about the other night, Is it true that Fidel Castro paid for the assassination of Che Guevara in Bolivia??

  • Thanks Victor! I appreciate your take on this issue!

  • Under the freedom of information act, coupled with the 'freedom of the press', Wikileaks has every right to publish these documents as references to analysis.

There is no grounds for Assange to be arrested by the US under any of their laws, as he abides by theirs. He went to the US Gov and asked them if there was anything they didn't want leaked, they ignored him.

And these Swedish rape charges, HA!

  • Thank you for the video.

  • 13セント以上、あなたは50セントのアクションフィギュアを持っていた可能性があります。私はあなたのブログが大好きです。

  • 37cents #FTW haha

  • I thought everyone knew the global elite by now :0

  • Oh man, I'd love an action figure of actor/rapper Ice T

  • Sedition and Espionage laws were introduced during a time of paranoia and fear. During the first war some German Americans were tarred and feathered, one Robert Prager hung by vigilantees. Unions attacked. Some people were later exhonerated from the sedition act. Later in 1942 110,000 Japanese Americans interned with help from the Census Bureau (proven in 1988). Reagan Apologised. After the wars rights are reaffirmed but during paranoia and hysteria reign. Hopefully people learn from history.

  • Finally, it is interesting to note that both the Espionage Act of 1917 and the Sedition Act of 1918 were passed during the administration of Woodrow Wilson, Democrat and leader of the so-called Progressive Movement, when the Democratic Party held majorities in both the House and the Senate.

  • @japundit

Very interesting comments! Thanks for the info!

  • Concerning the Pentagon Papers, I believe the great concern was that some information contained therein was obtained by a bug placed in Leonid Brezhnev's limo, and that the Soviets would realize the car was bugged if the info was revealed. That did happen and the bug was removed by the Soviets.

  • Having worked with and handled on a daily basis Top Secret Codeword intelligence information at one time in my life, I can tell you that more often than not it is not the information that is being protected by a classification, but rather where the information came from. Once a source (either intentional or unintentional) is compromised, it is a simple matter for the target to eliminate it, hence depriving the intelligence gatherer from further intelligence.

  • Can I buy one of those Ice T figures from you?

  • @noshnitt

I suppose, but I'd have to go back to the store and get some. I'll let you know if I get more.

  • @Gimmeabreakman Hells yeh!

  • your girlfriend cheated on you? Aww Sorry :(

  • @Crzeimasha

The worst part was I didn't know until I read it on Wikileaks!

  • True or false?? : no double negatives in Japanese!!!

  • @XxrElEAsEmExX

Huh? I think you're on the wrong channel. Try gimmeaflakeman.

ps. I don't doubt that it's not false. BOOM!

  • Great insight!! Personally I think all politicians should be shot. I am interested in what Julian Assange says is the 'poison pill' of damaging secrets. The drama never ends. Yet another excuse for another war.

  • Thumbs up for Ice-T! You should totally get the Ice-T army.

And kudos for making intelligent rational videos that you know you'll get a bunch of beef about even though you clearly state you're just a guy offering his opinion at someone ELSE'S request.

  • lol wag the dog

  • Actually it is quite significant, because they showed evidence that America is trying to cover up a war crime.

  • nice story about the GAY GUY, how do you know that is in fact try? I mean you do know the truth but it seems you need that evidenc eto come out before you really know the truth. I kinda beleive this guy didn't like the deaths he was looking at - I would have done the same thing because it was moral - but nice bashing, kinda see why a girl would cheat

  • @Judy101101

Who was bashing? If you listened I said I was surprised the right wasn't bashing and kudos because it is irrelevant. Small mind affect your hearing?

  • This is a plug.

  • @IauthenticI

    Hair plug?

  • All that sneaky hiding and keeping information away. Time to open the flood gates. Democraty without open insight into what happens is no democratie!

  • What's the point of saying that wikileaks stuff is no surprise? Is it just to express cynicism? If so you'll sure find reason for that in the leaks like Visa and Mastercard losing out on billions of dollars in the Russian market because the Russians would rather rape their own people and Pfizer fucking up people in Niger and trying to quash the lawsuit through a political smearing campaign of the Nigerian officials bringing the case, U.S. interests baby.

  • @DiwataMan

Pfizer? Don't they make Viagra!? Someday that might be useful.

Not being cynical. Do I sound cynical? Nope.

The point is going after Julian Assange is silly.

  • Just don't exaggerate the existing stereotypes.

But anyway. F*ck them all :) You rock ;)

  • Don't believe everything you see in the movies. They are rather propagandistic, especially those of Soviet Union and modern Russia. Does Russia have a lot of mafia? It does have it, but you exceeded the amount of that sh*t by your jestures :) The main mafia is Always in the government of any country, but bribaries is a modern russian problem, unfortunately. Sometimes it's even funny to watch them talking on the news like "we've got to clean our government of any bribes".Jerks are everywhere, man.

  • @13BEAST666

"The main mafia is Always in the government of any country"

    I like that. :)

  • Sounds like this guy has had too much coffee.

  • Thanks for the plug and thanks for the video :-)

  • I WANT ICE-T

  • my take on politics:

some people say "you are a pathetic person if you don't vote."

such a broad generalization is down right ignorant and appalling.

i don't follow politics in the least bit, so why would take the time to cast a vote? such an act would be as ignorant as the above statement.

i'm out to get mine, regardless. get mine and maybe then i'll make an impact.

    time will tell.

this wikileaks situation has caught my attention, despite my cold shoulder approach to all things politics.

  • @NoviceIndustries The concept is actually about people who want things to be different but aren't willing to actively pursue it. I hate it when people bitch about the president and who got elected and what laws are being passed, etc when they chose to vote on none of it.

  • The US government, including the Obama Administration, is trying to find ways to justify killing or imprisoning Assange, by saying he's not a journalist. Their logic? "He has a political agenda." LIKE 90% OF THE REST OF THE MEDIA! And how do they got off on justifying the advocation of assassination of a journalist (and yes, he IS a real journalist by textbook definition)? Besides, he just represents WL while everyone else does all the dirty work. Prosecuting him will not change anything.

  • 3:12 - :D

    3:18 - >:(

  • Hey there, Victor! Quick unrelated question: Is there a special reason as to why you use these video effects? Or do you just use them because you think they're cool? ;D

  • @Demoras

    1-cool

2-nobody else seems to use that effect regularly except for me

3-the true sight of my visage would blind you. :)

  • Although some of the secret information may not be surprising, one of the reasons that the wikileaks cables are harmful has to do with the important aspect of saving face in politics.

  • I'm from Europe so I don't know anything about Wikileaks.

I need to read about it on Wikipedia.

  • @arthurkitchen

Did you hear in the video where I referred to people who were talking out their asses? Yeah? Well, I was talking to you.

  • @Gimmeabreakman Did you read my response where you were confirmed an idiot? Well, many are talking to YOU!

  • @Gimmeabreakman ditto!!

  • @arthurkitchen you consider nukes a good thing and that makes me sick.

go back to the kitchen. >.>

  • @selearemus Yes, nukes are a GREAT thing!

  • @arthurkitchen you're not a fan of Carl Sagan eh

  • @arthurkitchen Ever thought about why alot of people hate the US?

  • @Degenskonto Ever wonder why the US is the only country people literally risk death to enter and be a part of? Enough said. We are number one at EVERYTHING!

  • @arthurkitchen

its not the only country and the only people that risk their life to enter it are Mexicans

and they dont even risk their life they just risk being deported or jailtime.

You are number one at being fat, uneducated and your huge Crime rate.

wake up, America is not what it used to be.

  • @spetznas101 Are you really that stupid? A simple look at our immigration data shows just how wrong you are. Also, the entire world mimics us for everything. English is the only language that is just a given that you will learn if you are in Asia or anywhere and expect to suceed in the world market. Hollywood, Wallstreet, Nasa, Harvard, Yale, and the list goes on and on. Doctors? If anyone from another country with money needs a top specialist, they come to AMERICA!!!!

  • @arthurkitchen Dear god.

  • @arthurkitchen

You said that people are "risking their lifes" to come to america, which is false.

also Canada (your northern neighbour) has a much higher immigration rate per capita and much better standard of living then you do.

Also english doesnt come from you, its from england.

yeah you have good things ofcourse but they are not the best (except hollywood),

also do you really wana brag about wallstreet?

Not really they are specialist everywhere.

  • @arthurkitchen I really don't like it, when people think the language of england comes from the usa or compliment eglish people for their well spoken english, WTF Mate you must be retarted to not notice there is something wrong with the us' inhabitants mentality. The MIT is nice though

  • @1980xardas1980

I have NEVER heard of anyone thinking that English comes from America. If they do, then you shouldn't get angry. You should pity them.

  • @Gimmeabreakman

Well my English teacher told me this actually happened to her so i ll not question it.

Anyways I sure am pissed when one ill weed mars a whole pot of pottage and people get prejudices against e.g. the us as I do -_-

  • @arthurkitchen True the world mimic the US, it's getting fatter by the second lol.

  • @arthurkitchen Not number one at education, or transportation, or money per GDP, the list continues,so no the US isn't number one at "everything" as you say. Your just making generalizations. And the Us isn't the only country that people risk their lives to enter. China to Japan for instance. North Korea to South Korea. Malaysia to Signapore. Syria to Turkey. Libya to Algeria, the list continues.

  • @wingwaabuddha Spoken like another jealous non-American! LOL! Must suck to be you!

  • @arthurkitchen Iam american. And again your not making your arguments valid, All countries are equal, please don't get a big head, its dangerous, and unnecessary

  • @arthurkitchen

Actually we are number one at only thing. Confidence. We have an inexplicable amount of confidence. Shame we can't back it up with any real marketable skills.

  • @arthurkitchen Do you function on the same level as everyone else??

  • @megaman2000 I immagine it is much higher!

  • @arthurkitchen Think again.

  • @arthurkitchen wow your idiot, No war crimes? killing civilians is a war crime. Is it fair for a country to kill your mom just because the US president starts a war? No. Is it right for civilians to die in Iraq because GW Bush had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein, No. Your one of those people that cover their ears and don't use their brain. And the Nagasaki bombing was unecessary, stop being racist, stupid, and a redneck right wing fool, now go read a book.

  • @wingwaabuddha I would guess I am far more educated and yes it is totally fair to kill EVERYONE in war! I'd kill women and children FIRST! Quit being a Greenpeace, liberal, uneducated, PUSSY!

  • @arthurkitchen lol troll

  • @tauwilltriumph No, I really believe every last word I wrote!

  • @arthurkitchen oh ok so killing women and children makes you uneducated? How is it fair? come up with a valid argument, you fucking idiot. Lol and what was that "Greenpeace" what are talking about.

  • @arthurkitchen fuck you

  • and he is Germany ? xD and julian assage is Australia!^^ Germany = Country German= People who got the German citizenship. And i thought you are an english teacher^^

  • @OJSimpson21

Slip of the tongue. Relax. I was rushing off to go to work. Where it matters.

  • @Gimmeabreakman

Actually I have no recollection of even saying Germany. Man, where is my head!

  • @Gimmeabreakman nobody is infallible

  • i seriously love you for these kinds of vlogs!

  • @CrappyCartoons

    Good to see you CC.

  • @Gimmeabreakman

    1) You're giving entirely to much credit to the public to use logic, to put these things together.

    2) It's not that civilians being killed was the shock of collateral damage. It's was the conversations over the radio that was shocking, it was the fact that the soldiers were telling command everything they needed to hear to get clearance to shoot those civilians. It's the fact that one soldier came forth and told us they shit that command enforces on said soldiers...

  • @Gimmeabreakman to get the job done.

We didn't know everything wikileaks has leaked, what I've been saying is that there are two types of information that was leaked with these leaks, and yes one type is what we already knew, stuff they have been telling us. The second type though is stuff they SHOULD have been telling us, stuff they are keeping under their hats to spare embarrassment. That stuff needs to be let out, like how many civies are really being killed, and the torture they are using

  • The composer Igor Stravinsky was jailed for playing the national anthem with different notes than normal.

  • @tauwilltriumph Igor Stravinsky was only warned that Massachusetts could impose a $100 fine upon any "rearrangement of the national anthem in whole or in part."

  • @LuckyChatt Only warned? I was sure he was jailed for at least a week, he even has a photo of him under arrest, he.

  • The documents released in wikileaks are very important on many levels. Killing civilians and journalists gives evidence which allows courts to prosecute for war crimes, a very important step in preventing future absurd wars like Iraq. Then there's the harmless yet embarrasing foreign policy reports, which could hopefully be a first step to some government transparency (on a domestic and international level); it's not healthy for a nation when its government guards its secrets soooo closely.

  • How did Wikileaks become bigger than The Spice Girls?

  • Did you say "Germanese"? ;)

  • 37 yen?!?! You got so ripped off bro. I bought that exact same Ice-T figure, along with MC Run, DMC, and Jam-Master Jay all for THIRTY TWO yen a pop!

I bought them from this weird little store called Kimble in Nishi-Ku. My memory could be failing me but I'm pretty sure they were 32Y each.

  • @LEV1ATHYN

I said 37 CENTS -- I was calculating the exchange rate and tax... but YES Kimbles! SAME ONE!

  • @Gimmeabreakman Hilarious! Nagoya is such a small little world. I live 2 minutes from there, stop by for a beer sometime!

  • @LEV1ATHYN

Damn! Your lucky! I'd be there every other day!

  • So what about people who donate to Wikileaks? Are they going to be arrested now? They support Wikileaks. I haven't given any money yet, but I do support Wikileaks and I very well might be incline to do so eventually.

Julian Might not be a journalist in the conventional sense, but to be honest he's being more of a journalist now then fox and the rest of the main steam media will ever be.

  • @mrx0066600

    I do not disagree.

  • And at the same time "everybody knows nothing"... VBG

  • Lots of Enthusiasim here :)

  • hehe an English teach who has problems saying espionage :)

  • @TsuKing

    EET EEZ ZEE FACKEENG FRENCH!

  • Everybody knows everything. Sounds like a great idea.

  • Ice T army? Whoa, COP KILLA!!!

  • Interesting and good point Victor! That's all I'm saying. Just in case. lol

  • While its true WikiLeaks releases documents which aren't that special but I think its about changing some people's mind.

There are people that believe the war in Irak is about killing "terrorists", there was no mass destruction weapons and there was 66 000 civilians killed of total 110 000 killings, I wouldn't call that a simple "collateral" damage.

So at least it might change some people's view about this war in Irak which is just about controling resources(oil) and installing military bases.

  • @neodos1 ill just let u know its spelt iraq

  • @neodos1

The people who believed Iraq is full of terrorist are idiots and will remain so.

  • @neodos1 Isn't the country called Iraq? I also think you need to recount those totals, last I heard civilian casualties were in the hundreds of thousands. Do they still think the invasion was to stop terrorism? When fact was Saddam had terrorists executed. I believe the real WMD launched by Iraq was selling it's oil in Euros instead of US dollars thus undermining the dollar as the world reserve currency... but republicans did a pretty good job of that anyways.

  • @neodos1 LOL...bad, wtf is an 'irak'

  • @Chtorr1988

Yeah mybad, I meant Iraq, in my native language Spanish its written with a "k" therefore I misspelled ;)

  • CERCL

  • According to the leaks there were over 15,000 unreported civilian deaths...

  • @Danoftouni

Of course that's bad but it all comes out in the end. Look back at WW1 WW2, etc. It always comes out.

  • Nice dog.

  • You had me looking up every other moment from eating my sandwich with your very quick, and sneaky smart-ass comments.

Damn, I wish I could have a drink with you. It would be one very enlightning and entertaining night. Haha.

  • gotta say though, i find it a bit odd a guy as smart as sean is calling this a conspiracy of the CIA. Give me a break. No indictments have come from the states over this. Precenent is clear hear, assange will not lose an espionage case in the states. Did he rape these women? it seems even under swedish law he didn't come close. they have simply extradited him for questioning.

  • there is no real espionage on. the right is simply playing politics with this. the left are the ones doing the actual prosecution though (its the obama justice department going after him). i think its hysterical this guy really thinks he is exposing something, is he really out of the loop that bad?

  • Assange makes the news a whole lot more interesting. Props for that.

  • Ever since the war they kill civilians, so... Where's the news. O.o

  • Comment removed

  • @LilithHacker

    Its Ice T

  • CERCL!

  • If you prosecute Assange for giving information to the public, you might as well prosecute journalists... He needs to be freed.

  • Sorry to all you, but honestly, america is shit! They was spying on us...

  • cercl!!

  • lol. i wanna mini ice T

  • Whoever in the government that trusted the idiot that leaked the information needs to be the one prosecuted, not Assange, or even the guy.

  • You really should have bought all the Ice-T figures!

You're right here, Victor, there are no surprises in any of the "cables." As for any "treasonous" activity, all the names have been redacted.

    FREE JULIAN ASSANGE!

  • This is the same problem that the media industry faces in reality. It's all about intellectual property rights, and people that get their stuff stolen being buthurt about it. The reality is it's the person with the property's responsibility to keep it secure, not reporters, or illegal downloaders from doing their job and circulating the information.

  • Is the Ice-T during his rapper days or during his stint on Law & Order SVU after he got chubby?

  • You should just redirect all questions to Maggie. I think most of the argument surrounding wikileaks goes into what it means to have freedom of speech, but personally i think there are more important things to worry about in the world.

  • I have to admit that if I read the WikiLeak I would end up being the angry person who makes the angry video for youtube!

Throughout this video I could not stop staring at your chin beard, you have an awesome chin beard, sir!

Love for Maggie from all in little England x

  • Interpol

  • bull shit 37 cents!!!!!!

  • LOL!!! It kinda looked like you picked up Maggie by her ears... I guess it was just the video effect which also makes you look 20 yrs older... But I agree with your concept of "everyone knows everything". Intuition and gut feelings are really great things.

  • drop this wikifuckwad off in some tiny southern Afgan village wearing a T-shirt of a cartoon drawn muhammad

  • people ask you these questions because they see you as some all-knowing person. must be the facial hair

  • Russian Mafia is in Tokyo too... They're everywhere.

  • This sucks. I can't get a job with the embassy if I even watch this video. my days are numbered :(

  • FREE JULIAN ASSANGE!

  • Fox news has their friends in the republican party so there will be no court cases on them.

  • Well I have all the skypre transcripts, PM.s , E mails and passwords of at least a couple thousand main youtubers and I'm going to release that bit by bit.

but really victor you maggie and miss hanna in a pet store ?

oh well the security video was great, you da man!

    LOLLUZ!!! hahaha :P

  • love your vids and ur point of view keep them coming :)

  • you should get your student to mske a stop motion movie, involving the army of Ice T figures.

  • I vote yes to the Ice-T army, please. If I saw them for that cheap here in Tokyo, I don't see how I could possibly say no! I would strategically place or hide them to see how long it would take my husband to lose his mind. Or create and enact Law&Order: Ice-T. :D

  • This makes me think of our country as the kind of kid who says things, then aggressively attacks people for them finding out about those things, because he feels guilty for saying them.

  • "armies of Ice Teas" lol awesome thought

  • this sounds like Dumbledore's philosophy: It's a secret, so naturally, everybody knows. XDDD

  • Wikifreaks is horsesh*t

  • very interesting...

  • Do some research before talking about the topic at hand? If everyone did that the internet would be a better place.

  • CERCL

  • well didnt this info help pull down all these websites?

but like you, I speak from ignorance. So, I wouldnt know.

  • Hey give me a break man, give me some cake Jan! Give me a break, is Putin really on the take?

  • cercl

  • Great vid.

  • cercl

  • Victor, I completely agree with you when you state that Wikileak's merely stated the obvious to those of us who actually read beyond the "headlines." However, wasn't it nice to see the atrocities that we both know occur during wartime brought into the prime-time spotlight via Assange and Wikileak's? I'm diggin' this for sure, who knows, I could be tried under the sedition act for supporting an independent media outlet that tells the truth irregardless of consequence to U.S. Policy.

    PEace.

  • P.S. The Ice-T figure rocks!

    Peace again.

  • wow what a pointless video :P interesting info though!

  • 3:12 is why we ask you. It's a good vid, Gimme. Thoughtful. Thanks.
