this is pretty damnb cool... didn't know you could do that wall climbing trick and yet given the game's weird item interraction system where the item just floats. it makes sense that if you put it below u. gravity will try to drop it but because you hold it. the game will make the cube rise to such a point that you create this climbing motion. for idiots that dun get it. its a loop in code. hence u get this sorta bouncing motion.

Before the short black blank, you can (and must) see a console board.

On the left upper corner. And after the cut, you see a chatting board.

Because you freaking pressed on the wrong button.

And by the way, chatting board can also make changes to the console.

But less useful. Such as in CS1.6, type "/shop" is the same as console "shop".

At Team Fortress 2, say "!mortal" is same as console "mortal".

At HL2:DM, chat "!stuck" is same as console "stuck".

@HKJeffer Yes, It does show the console as soon as the demo ended. I would assume that is a demo recording glitch, considering the recording functionality was broken on initial release of Portal. Additionally, the chat commands you are describing are SourceMods. There are no default chat commands that can do anything the console can do. Also, because the console is shown in the video does not mean that there was any cheating taking place.

This solution cannot be done without relying on a glitch in the game code. It is an exploit. Not technically cheating, since it can be done with a stock copy of the game. However, it is unlikely the designers intended for the game to be played that way, and I would not be surprised if this exploit were to be patched at some time.

The last updated forced all the "Bonus Maps" to go into an inactive state so if you get 0 on anything (Or 0:00:00 for time) the record won't show, it won't say cheated (unless you did cheat) but it won't show up.

@Sonar009 Using noclip means you have to enable cheats within the game. It's fairly obvious that if they put that level of security on the console command that it is intended to be a cheat. Think of it as the equivalent to the Contra code (Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right A B Select Start) or IDCLIP, IDKFA, IDDQD, etc from Doom.

That clearly isn't cheating to do that, but you weren't supposed to use your intelligence to figure out that it was possible. It allowed me to get outside the normal boundaries of the map. In no why did I cheat. I just jumped. Nothing more than that. If I am not modifying the game's laws or rules, I did not cheat.
