  • The power of the European Parliament has grown much greater in the recent past. The decisions of this institution strongly affect any european citizen. The fact that this action remains so little-known is incredibly absurd !

So don't forget to vote ! If you abstain, you're willingly giving up your right to have a say in what the EU is doing.

  • IMAGINE. Imagine no commission unelected as they are no million regulations sent to us from afar imagine legislation made by those we know oh,oh,oh I know you may call me a dreamer but Im not the only one one day you will join us and Europe will be as one (..as a trading block, not as an imposed, artificial federal state with it's own army/parliament no-one was ever ASKED if they wanted ). Dont give the EU the legitimacy it cravesdont vote. No to the Lisbon treaty/constitution !
  • United State of Europe is a necessity, if we want preserve our way of live and not fall into poverty. Because India, China, Brazil, Russia and USA will taken all ressources in 2020-2030. Little country like France , UK, or Germany don't have enought power for protect their interrests. It's time for us, to be united.

  • T'as tout a fait raison!

    vive les Etats-Unis d'Europe!

  • Go study some economics before you say all these things about big countries taking up the world-resources and the world-economy. The world is so fucking complicated and ever-changing that simplistic arguments such as yours look like a terrible joke. What's the use of a USE when there is no democracy in it? Can't you see that decision making in the EU is not in the hands of its citizens? This is a H-U-G-E problem and proceeding without solving it would be plain foolishness.

  • U should begin with "Why?" then u'll find "How?". EU politics is going towards centrally planned ecenomics. The difference is that its not as direct as in communist systems. The regulations and their influence on markets gives its participants an illusion of free taken decisions.

  • Let;s vote for a decoratif Europarliament, since the appointed and not the elected institutions of EU take ALL the BIG decisions. Yes sure i'll vote in the elections, ofc i would. Types like Baroso though won't go away...

  • Men, you are happy you still have voting.

In Russia nowdays there is 103 % of voters support onl;y one party = all is frauded.

    You still have freedom.

btw i heard that new parlament will be more influent.

  • You, kombajndosalatek,

    f....ing moron!

Don't like EU? Then feel free to emigrate in USA, if you're from one of those Old Europe countries that don't nee d visa... dumb-asses!

We, Europeans, we have an opportunity to build something good for everybody on this continent, to be united, but no, always there must be some stupid ones complaining...

And if you're from Eastern Europe, then you are a stupid as....hole!

    A disgusted Romanian

  • ok.. arguments ad personam means you admited you can't handle discussion.

I'm from Poland. And as Pole I know what socialism means. You- being Romanian should know it also. Either you're very young and enthusiastic about "pleasing everybody", or very naive. Try to get interested in how eu works, not only watching their "sweet" tv commercials and listening to how "we will be together" blah blah.

  • ur pasting all really mean komments^^

    i like it...its funny...xoxo

  • Haha xD Funny!

Well, I like those ads (although the one with the screaming girl is a bit extreme). And I am going to vote for sure.

  • you're welcome, stupido; but everything is wasted on you anyway...

  • you have some family member in euro- beurocracy? or are just increadibly dumb?

  • that one's better, anyway

however, it's a sad story how they need to beg European citizens for democratic legitimacy

politics as its worst and most primitive level

still I like the clip :)

  • Der Clip ist genauso lächerlich wie die EU!!

  • Ich find' ihn super! ;-)

  • die EU auch?? Oo

  • Nicht super, aber global betrachtet notwendig.

  • *h eu l*

  • and the moral is: being DOPED is no reason NOT to vote ? :))

  • 0:35, Polka dot jersey, Bernhard Kohl - HAHA

  • haha xD

  • But you can not vote wherever you want to... You have to do it at the place where you are registered citizen. And in Poland it's complicated procedure, changing place of voting.

So it's not so easy as it shows there. At least in Poland.

  • greetings from eu!
