  • @phunkybrats : read my post from a month ago

  • @knowatimean I really don't want to read your comments...you seem like a really negative person.

  • @phunkybrats : giving facts does not = being a negative person

  • i knew him and his brother rockey the school is to blame for not educating and to be honest why would u allow a student to cross dress

  • @jaytru131 if your gender is female then your not cross dressing..sex and gender are 2 different things..look it up and educate yourself.

  • He would have went to hell anyway for being gay...so what.

  • @taffydavenport1 That was so mean.

  • @taffydavenport1 just from that comment..I can tell..your going to hell.

  • I really like what you had to say in you video and I was wondering if you would add me to facebook so I could get to know you better and we could maybe talk more about things like this. My name is Raymond William Parsons and I hope to hear back from you maybe on facebook.

  • killing is wrong but if your gay b gay but not everybodies gay youll need to know so sum ppl are gonna get offended by a guy trying to come on to him theres alot of crazy ppl out there so 1st u need 2 find out whos gay r not cuz lesbians take real offense to guys tryna push up on them i see it everyday a lesbian couple walking and guys tryna talk 2 dem they get really upset so when da shoes on da other foot see wat im saying n i say again KILLING IS WRONG

  • oh man, what kind of a pathetic loser wears a shirt that says "im special"?

  • I sincerely do like your comment on this...thanks for posting it as well as encouraging other gay people to stand behind themselves...

I know it is hard sometimes and not only because my teenager period was in the 80s *oy vey* nice comment..take care!

  • For what happened to Lawrence , I shut my mouth thousand times when I see a cute boy. I know most of them wouldn't even hurt me but u never know. Thanks for this video.

  • There are people out there, myself included, following your correct, passionate, logical train of thought, and you are deeply sadden by and the cause of Larry death. You are not alone. The too much bad happening shit has all the good people saying "Are you Shitting Me", and "Whats wrong with people"??--Life is to short-Live and Let live- love, Enbrace, help, and tolerate all-- be part of humanity-Larry RIP--you were wronged-God forgive us-for some of whats happened on your earth

  • Rightly said

  • dude your right god bless you,

  • i agree 100%. loved ur dog too.

  • dude ur smart!!!!! all of this! i agree wit it 100%

  • Killing should never be allowed, there are better ways of getting though our problems.

  • Dude that video really moved me. I'm straight, (I think), but I totally respect the gay community. The world needs more people like you!!!

    Peace

    xxx

  • thanks...you think or you know that it won't be easy to do what feels right?

  • u know what in the philippines we are proud of our gays coz they are much talented than normal u now, and mostly gays here are in the high society.. and we love them (maybe not all) but we respect people: )

  • i understand you a lot :) just ignore those shet spamming in ur page they maybe didnt get ur point

  • speak normal why so dramatic you r not on the oprah show

  • who's spamming...you commented on my page!

  • dude the kids were 14 years old! Think before you speak.

  • you must be a very lonely person. BTW wasn't Tupac black? Hmmm, maybe you should think before you type.

  • you seriously need to improve your sex life idiot! I wish you all the luck in the world with that.

  • unfortunately what you said it's true :(

    poor Larry.. r.i.p. :(

  • Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how to look at the situation) Larry has united us and maybe, just maybe, together we can change the world.

  • Gays deserve to DIE?

Is that even close to being a valid argument?

    That's just inhumane.

Whatever ethnicity you are, wpower, just imagine what it's like to be constatly bashed about it.

    It's so unbelievablly ignorant!

You do not deserve to be heard, when you are that hatefull, and for lack of better words...stupid.

  • I love that you said this. This video makes me want to be your best friend. lol

  • we can be BFF!!!

  • This is a very powerful video, thank you. You just summed up my feelings about this tragic incident. I am gay, in the closet, and actually terrified of telling anyone.

  • You told me you're gay...that's a start! You're not alone about being terrified. When I was first coming out I was scared too. It's normal because you don't know how people are going to react...especially those you love and respect. Good Luck!!

  • I just wannted to say that your video was very powerful and keep the good word going. I still think we are on a good path. 100 years ago if you where gay you did,nt tall anyone or you would be killed. 50 years ago it was keept very hush if you where gay but some people started to come out and live how thay wanted to. and 10 years ago there was a lot of openly gay people and a little more respect too now it is even better again so lets hope that in 100 years or less you can love anyone you want

  • You don't even need to go back as 100 years agos...in the 80's things were really bad. In Toronto Ontario there was a bathhouse riot at 3am. Hundreds of men were arrested. In the 90's Matthew Shepard was murdered because he was gay. In 2008 the American government still won't 'allow' Gay people to marry.

  • i'm crying right now and you so right when i think of the limited release for a gay persons emotions to express love and hope for understanding. thank you so much for this video for you to express your views.

rest in peace Lawrence King all of the gay community cry out for you

  • you're very welcome!

  • ok. im 14 and i got linked to this by the ellen show. i agree. in a world where an 8th grader can kill NYONE is unacceptable. this is supposedly a land free of descrimination. this just shows there miles to go before we sleep. we cant expect this to be good enough and i know for a fact that there will never be a world in which people can be gay black islamic muslim jewish asian indian without judgement which is unfortunate. liked your vid btw.

  • you're an intelligent 14 year old! The world needs more like you!

  • Yeah... it's really horrid what the world has come to. Thanks for this video.. it made me think a lot. <3 And rest in peace, Larry King... we love you.

  • What was the background story on Lawrence King? Was he Asian or Latino? and Why was he living in a group home?

  • Wow. So true and powerful,

    I think the same way.

I'd wish to talk to you in private or something, you sound like a realy cool and amazing guy.

  • sure send me an email whenever you like.

  • wow...very powerful vid i watched it for the full 7 minutes! im going to subscribe.

  • Lawrence King was a very brave person. Only 15 yrs old. He was too young to die. To be killed because your gay is just...wrong. I really admire this kid. I also wanted to thank phunkybrats (Sorry I don't know your name) for making this video. It was one of the things that inspired me to go to PRIDE club at my college. 5/5, subscribed, and added to favs. If I knew how to make a video like this one I would. Great video! Thanks again! "Gay is OK!"

  • Larry was brave for being a cross-dressing bimbo? That's beyond deranged... :)

  • re: getveryreal.

i don't know where you got the informtation that larry cross dressed at all.

or where you get the right to call him a bimbo.

it takes courgae to tell anyone how you feel- espically if you are gay and you do come out in a word full of people who are against it so horrifically- they kill for it.

larry was a young boy, he was doing nothing wrong. he wasn't some bimbo you are quoting him and it's offending you'd stereotype him like that.

  • Thanks for your powerful comment! We more of it. It's easy for people the generalize and stereotype people who are different...it makes it easier to discriminate unfortunately.

  • Hey getveryreal....you need to get very real! The kid was only 14 years old!

  • This is the second time I watched this video. I want to fast forward to the end."Gay is OK!" That is so true. In the beginning he speaks about misconceptions and society. There are many misconceptions that I believed and some people still tell me misconceptions. So I really don't know who to believe. Coming out is really hard for me.

  • Coming takes time so don't rush it. It took me a really long time to believe in myself...that's my definition of being gay. BTW my real name is Frank...nice to meet you! Best of luck!

  • Thanks Frank! Best of luck to you too!

    ~Laura

  • nice message

  • the death of larry king was so wrong!!! to be mudered becuase u r gay is just not right ! gays lesbians bisexuals and tendergendered people r no different from me and u!!!!!

  • What a powerful video. Thank you for posting it. You have now gained a new subscriber!

  • Yeah, you're right, Memphetic.. All gay people have extremely high pitched voices. And lesbians too, they all speak in cavemen tones. (Ps, I was being sarcastic)

Seriously.. Don't slap a huge label like that on a whole population or people. That kind of judgement leads to hate.

  • Your words are strong and moving. I don't even know how to respond.

But I do agree, if people had some self respect maybe the world would be a better place

  • Ah okay cool, sorry I just watched it and you said in your vid my bad I was watching it then I had to go out an eat with a friend.

  • Are you gay?

  • Does it make a difference if he is?

  • Don't be a stuck up dick, i'm just asking Jesus Christ I joined the Lawrence King group on facebook tbh I got nothing against gay people I got friends that are gay they know just not to ask me out because i'm not gay but i'm fine as friends there very nice people beleive it or not.

  • He said in the vid he was, and I think he or she just took what you said the worng way, don't worry about it.

  • I think before you get defensive you should think before you say something. The point of the Lawrence King facebook page and my video is to unite our differences and try to find a solution. Attacking someone with words is JUST as hurtful as being physical.

It's clear that the point of my message was overlooked...please watch it again.

  • so you're a supporter...did you vote for or against Prop 8?

  • some people need to know...not sure why but if it helps them so be it.

  • thats very rude!

  • Not really, it's just very true. That's one of the reasons they "can't help it". Their brains don't function the same way as typical male's because of that imbalance. But hey, take it as slander if you want to.

  • are you serious? There is no hormonal imbalance.

  • yes I am

  • I've been doing a college project, and it opened my eyes!I'm not going to lie, I guess I've been naive or something---but i had NO idea so many people out there were openly against homosexuality. I'm a straight 22 year old girl who lives in florida.I just want to say I respect you so much for having the courage to be different and not care what other people think. It shouldn't matter who you love, just that you love and are loved in return. It will get better one day, I hope and have faith!

  • thanks really powerful video this really upset me as well good advice

  • the strange thing is i felt so alone when i was younger i thought i was the only gay person in the world then i had the guilt of it. know i am coming to terms with that one thing is i told my perant when i was 15 they were so scared for me. i had that love many people don't and that is the problem people are still in this mind set that it is wrong maybe it will never change but lets hope it will

  • i bet you almost said Mathew Shepard. subconscious or what.

i think that it was so bad that it happened one thing i know murder is murder there is no right about it and for someone that young it is beyond tragic

  • I havent heard about this until you posted this video. But I think its digusting that he had to lose his life over love! Why cant people accept two people in love! It makes me so angry when I cant walk down the street with my gf and knowing people will stare and make little comments. so when people cant accept love, it makes me so sad and angry.

  • It is frustrating that some people take advantage what we consider a dream. I really wish I had the answer except keep strong. Don't let anyone hold you back especially when it's about love. Tell you GF that you love her and cherish what you have. That's the best revenge...being loved back!

  • I'm Out in Toronto as well. I haven't been able to get this tragedy out of my head all week. I feel physically sick everytime I think about it.

  • On facebook there's a group called Remembering Lawrence King search for it. There's tons of articles and people offering their thoughts about this. I think it's great that we're not hiding from this but talking about it as it needs as much attention as possible.

  • I joined that group a couple days ago. It's encouraging the amount of people who have joined, and like you said, the articles that are posted there.

  • thank you.

  • Thanks for sharing the very real response many of us are frreling...
