  • This DVD has got to be one of the best recorded performances of a Baroque opera ever. The production is a little bizarre but it would have to be more so to detract from the quality of the singers' and musicians' performances.

  • I love the look on Sextus' face when he kills tolomeo :) I have always loved this aria. Its like one big sigh of relief! And its always good to see cornelia happy after being thrown around the stage for 3 acts!
