I used to call this (jokingly) their sellout album, because the picture was obviously taken by a professional and the music was clearly produced in a real studio. From there on out I refused to listen to any DMM album that didn't have a crayon drawing as it's cover. It worked - they went back to it.
@goingwithzed At the same time, this was their greatest album. I'm not really concerned if it's professionally produced or not- if the music is good then that's all I care about.
I'll admit I bought this album 10 years ago because I heard Punk Rock Girl on the radio. I love this entire album though, this song is my favorite. It reminds me driving my friend's around town, to their girlfriend's houses, or to our first punk rock shows because I was the first one with a car. Good memories.
@abstractthreat Sometimes it's my favorite. There are so many good ones, though, it kind of depends on which one I am listening to at that moment. But even still, it's always in my top 5 regardless which one's playing. The violin solo is beautiful.
I remember when my creepy uncle gave me this tape,I am from Philly and I don't think he actually liked the band just the fact that they were from Philly, but they hooked me in.
