were the nailene nails u purchased the active square or petite? I purchased the active squre and those are just above my finger tips... all nailene has available is the petite square or active... I don't care for the kiss brand, since they are thicker and more un natural looking, plus u dont get as many nails in the box
lol, nails do not need to breath!! why do people think that? our hair and nails are not alive and do not need to breath... I think that if the nails look well after the ten days and are on well, then why remove them? I took off my first set of glue on nails after two weeks this Monday and it took me 45 minutes to get them off!!! I wouldn't want to go thru all that more than evey couple of weeks... how do you remove your nails? acetone? if so, how long does it take for you?
Nailene is my go to brand for naILS!! I luv the value and quality of them... I have tried the kiss nails in the 100pk, but they dont seem to be as well made.. plus nailene has 200ct nails for $5.99 at rite aid, where the kiss 100ct goes for $5.69...for $0.30 cents more, I go for Nailene!!! I also have a you tube channel up..check out my videos on glue on nails that I have worn the past couple of weeks...luv your v ideos and you are so sweet and informative!!!
do you use the glue that comes with the nails? I have never found that i get good wear with that glue... I use the nailene original superglue available at rite aid, walmart for $2.59 - 3.00 depending on the amount of bottles... I am hunting for this glue in a twin pack, but have yet to find it... the cap is red and has a yellow bottle..its similar to the nailene glue bottle... any ideas on wear to purchase larger amounts of this? if you have seen it?
I am a nail polish hoarder.. I have purchased tons and tons of Sinful Colors, wet n wild Fast dry, wet n wild polishes in general, sally hansen, China Glaze and Rimmel, revlon and some cheaper brands... I have 75 bottles of polish, and once I quit with the trips to the salon for acrylics, my natural nails were a mess...they are naturally weak, flimsy and bendy, so I always end up tearing them or cutting them down to nothing :( the glue on's dont damage the natural nails..and are cheap!!
what a great video!!! I agree that the boxes of nails arent the best bang for your buck, they are nice for now and then, but like you said, some nails dont fit and they get thrown away.. thats money down the drain... I purchased 200ct square full cover nails by nailene for $5.99...the design nails cost that much and can only be worn once, maybe twice if you tweek the bigger sizes.... luv the look of the plain ones that can be painted...that way you can use polish on them!!
do you have to take them off after 10 days, or is it just recomended? and do the nails come in those boxes or did u buy them seperate? thanks a bunch!
Great video. Very informative. I am just getting into wearing glue on nails. The bozxinstructs that glue be put on the artificial nail and on the real nail. Do you feel this is necessary??
It does help them stick better, and reduces air bubbles. I don't do that cause I have gotten good at getting the correct amount on just by putting on the fake nail. So, either way works really.
Put some of the nail glue on the fake nail, just enough that it is a thin layer (not too much) and then press them onto your real nail for a few seconds. The brand I like are nailene, but I like Kiss as well. I got them at Wal-Mart

It is recommended, but I have left them on longer. They just get to looking not so good after that. They come in these boxes already which is nice.
