And by only am I a bit disappointed in the lack of imagination of the writers, I'm also really angry that this is keeping Luke and Noah apart, AGAIN.

But I get what yo have to say. Noelle is a fantastic actress, but her character seems so different from the one Martha Bryne potrayed. That being said, Martha Bryne's Lily was pretty self-centered too. Did she not walk out on her kids on Thanksgiving for Dusty?

I think it's just the character's bad judgement in certain situations, like how Holden didn't use good judgement with the whole Carly situation.

It's annoying, but kids who are suffering through their parents divorce tend to lash out (or have worse, react in self-destructive behaviour).

When Holden cheated with Julia, Luke apparently broke into her place and there was trouble. And another time they were about to divorce he told his mom he'd rather be dead then compromise his parents happiness, which is one of the last things a mother wants to hear EVER.
