Belt-fed looks very unreliable. Is that true? Looks like you could get whipped or snagged during any fast action. Is that true? I don't know much about such weapons.

Not really. it only moves one round each time. Kinda like dangling it in the wind. Now, if you get your finger stuck in the feed slot, well lets say that hurts! Or if you slam the cover down onto your finger too. They don't call them nut crackers for fun. You can get a bag that hangs on there and holds the ammo in a little box. More reliable as the belt doesn't snag on stuff and cause a malfunction but not as cool looking.
