This is not the most efective way to correct this problem as said in the video, this way may be temporary as well.
As I'm sure the author of this video knows that the correct way to do this repair is to reball the chip (with all related work).

Hello, I need some help please. I just replaced my motherboard and connected everything but nothing happened when i turned it on. It is a dell precision M 90. Bought a new battery from ebay. The battery won't boot up my system. I am hoping you can help me.

Well.. I tried mine a couple days ago..and it came on for about 20 mins. then it went off and when I tied to turn it back on.. it started the same thing over. I just tried again and thats what I am on now. But I noticed... my battery isnt charging and I have it plugged in. I started out at 94% when I turned it on.. now its at 81 and a few mins ago it was 84%. I tried a friends power cord last night...thought maybe it was just that.. but it didnt come on when I used his either.

HI, i have a same laptop, and it wont turn on. All led turn on as they should be, cd drive works, but screen does not. it feels like that is starting to turn onthe fan is starting to run to but after 1 sec it stops and nothing happens, any ideas what could be?

Did you ever find out what was wrong with it? My laptop is doing that same thing!!! I have been looking for answers as to why...for weeks!! If you found out what was wrong with your laptop, Please please let me know! :) Or if anyone has an idea of what could be wrong with my laptop...

@nanabear2yew i tried to turning on it like a week and then one day he just worked
I think it could because of the temperature try to turn it on low tempreture (just don't get crazy like put in freezer or something XD)
