Pokémon Black and White, the upcoming games, got 1.5m prerelease sales, more than any other Pokémon game ever. The anime has lost popularity, I'll give you that, but the next season (called Best Wishes in Japan) is pretty much awesome, way better than the previous ones.

@chumon1992 Levels don't seem to work in the same way in the anime. If Pikachu really was lvl 100 Trip's Snivy wouldn't have beaten it so easily. But if it's because Ash's Pikachu is overused... yeah, they really need to change the main character.

Because Pokemon isn't strong in storyline, but in strategy. The game is great when you actually make a team based in a strategy and battle others, testing and modifying your team. Ah, and training too, in terms of raising Effort Values (EVs) correctly. There are lots of variables; google for them.

You're right, but only 50%. Some pokemon do look more fierce. But, just look at Golbat, that tongue is just antiaesthetical. So is Blastoise, so is pokemon green's Mew, so is Rhyhorn, so is Primeape, so is Dratini! (a goddamn slug!!!)

Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 weren't going to be included anyways because they lack of any story.

As for Pokemon Colosseum and XD, even when they do have story, I don't have a NGC. So I'm just recording the main games for handheld consoles.
