Marian is definitely my favourite Sisters song. I would never have thought that anyone could produce a cover that almost surpasses the original. Of course it's a proof for the strength of the composition that the song also works in a completely different style. Great!

As a Sisters of Mercy fan, I really don't like this, because it turns a dark song in something lovely and dreamy...However, it is just a matter of taste. But good effort! There are worse covers of the Sisters. At least this band didn't just copy the Sisters classic, but turned it into something completely different.

I don't mind the idea. After all, "Bela Lugosi is Dead" is also a Bossa Nova of sorts (I mean the original bauhaus version). But: I don't think this is well execured. First, it sounds too contrived, second it requires a male vocal singing a Brazilian translation and diferent phrasing.
