I've love to see a HW2 mod that basically made all of the controls work exactly like HW1.

I watch this amazing tribute to one of the best space RTS's of all time, glance down at the comments... and see the usual childish arguements over which game is best.

This annoy's me. People can't just appreciate the classic's anymore. Homeworld is literally the Grand-daddy of all modern day Space RTS's, and it still has the deepest story line of any RTS bar none (homeworld 2's story isn't quite as good as the 1st). Seeing HW called a copy of Sin's is saddening. (Sins came out 5 years later to)

a good game, have not seen this mod in use, looks interesting.

a 4x game requires "a range of non-military routes to supremacy" so it is not one, it is a true RTS. There are 3 axis of movement in the game, it just uses a plane for standard orders to simplify it, but i am assuming that is the standard youtube rant over something someone does not know about.

@MrPerson61 Homeworld 2 has its moments where I would put it better than SoaSE. There was going to be an EVE mod but it fell through, however you can find videos on youtube of the ships they made for it featuring some Gallente ships. There is a Star Wars mod, it's called Star Wars: Warlords, there is a Rebellion vs Empire vs Yuuzhan Vong version and a Republic vs Confederacy version, both have the ability to face one of the Homeworld 2 races (Hiigaran I believe). The cost is roughly $20 US +/-

I just downloaded this mod and i got powned by easy AI twice. Second time I even gave myself an ally but he somehow sucked. Second time if the big AI attack would have come like 1-2 minutes later I would have destroyed him.

Either that or it's some kind of leaking plasma or other source of energy from within the ship. Also, some fuel sources contain oxidizing agents which means that they can burn without oxygen, but, that's probably a different matter.
