  • seriously should have watched this video before I purchased the exact same helmet. Would have save me some money.....thanks (again) for the honest and upfront reviews

  • @pcolasoldier31 No worries

  • Do all helmets come with a bag?

  • I just got this helmet a few days ago, coming from.a shoei rf-1000. This helmet fits more comfortable and it looks just as good if not better upclose. I believe the shoei to be of better quality but I do prefer wearing this one. Vents very well, the cheek pads feel much plusher but its heavy.. both great helmets! This one gets me more compliments if I had to count.

  • @MrBlackem1 End of the day I have found if you like the design of the icon helmet you will be happy with the performance. That said I will add the airframe, alliance and variant helmets are all excellent. The domain II is an earlier model and there have been many improvements since it was introduced. I myself have and alliance sir represent and an airframe seventh seal, like them both.

  • icon domain 2 helmet has the pro shield locking lids. domain 1 does not have proshield.

  • hey.... these helmets are pretty cheap now since there discontinued.

  • Hi, awesome reviews! Quick Question, How does the sizing of Domain 2 compare to the sizing of AIRFRAME? If im XL in Airframe would i be XL in Domain 2??

  • Hi, can you tell me if there is any difference between the Icon Domain and the Domain 2? Are they 2 different lids?

  • @taticule Two different lids completely. Both are discontinued now. Check out their new Alliance models, awesome lids and more affordable. Actually better in every way as compared to the Domain Series

  • you destroyed the helmet.... i was going to buy it but never mind.... it sounds like this helmet is nothing special

  • @Freakorcycle ICON has some much better lids now. The Alliance and the Airframe are both far better than this one. I have both and like them both

  • Bought an Icon Domain Decay a few years ago. After years this helmet has taken a beating and it shows. I love the graphics on the helmet....however, I feel Icon is failing in the quality. The air vents are kinda cheap feeling, the top vent came flying off down the highway at 70mph, mirrored shield is junk, and the gloves I bought from them fell apart within a month or two of having them. Love the style, hate the quality, good review. I doubt I'll ever buy any Icon products again.

  • I've got the lucky 13 and I love it better than the alliance ssr !

  • i have this helmet its alright not good for summer ridding. My bell star helmet is the best flows air and its super light.

  • ICON BLOWSSSS. Mines after 3 months fell apart not even dropped. Planning to go Shoei next.

  • @MaxPayne19146 The Domain helmet is an alright lid IMO. That said we have seen both good and bad exeperiences with the Domain. The Airframe and the Alliance (new ones) have been solid. I have both and have time in each.

  • ive heard icon sucks i wouldnt wear one not to mention there big

  • These helmets look so cool!, I have a quick question if someone can reply. I guy at my local ride shop explained that they are very unsafe and made mostly of plastic instead of fiberglass unlike shoei, Shark, Scorpion etc , is that true? He also explained he went down in one and had his bell rung pretty hard. Kinda changing my opinion of Icon :(

  • The domain decay 1 & 2 are made of carbon fibler and kevlar, and are certified by various international standards like SNELL and DOT. This helmets are very safe and has and amazing looks. A friend of mine crash on his R1 at 110 mph and his Icon domain decay made his job. The only bad thing of this helmet is its weight: 1800 gr.

  • aha, this is their most expensive helmet, it has a Dyneema/Carbon fiber/Aramid shell, you cant really get much better then that. It meets DOT and Snell. Its really a safe helmet

  • I just subscribed to your videos. I always find your reviews informative and helpful. Thanks!

I've been thinking of ordering a Shoei RF-1000 off your website. I see you provide a free visor! Very nice...

  • This is one of the best helmets out there and in thier price range and amount of color shcemmes there is no better. I prefer snell/dot approved for the amounnt of safety.

  • Thank you for all the info it was very helpful.

  • I love your honesty about checking out other helmets first.

  • Thanks

  • I have the Domain Mechanica 2 helmet and its a great helmet

  • this helmet has removeable liners so you can switch from a large to a medium set of pads.

  • great review!

  • Is the Airframe regal a good helmet? Are they comfortable, good fit, and what about noise? I couldn't find a review for the Airframe Regal.

  • i like ICON DOMAIN2 MECHANICA

  • Cool graphic for sure

  • there is one problem i live in australia and am having a hard time finding it and we cant import helmets because they dont come with the australian safety stands sticker so u cant use it cause if u get done by the police theres a fine there. I also know a guy who imported a helmet from the uk and im not sure who did this if it was the guys he bought it from but the straps where cut so he couldnt use it.i also like the Shark RSI EDEN Matte White/Gold so i'll keep looking

  • Because I believe that would give even more information. Like the fit, the snugness, the height of the eyebrow line, the height of the breath deflector, the width of the face guard and the chin skirt, the angle of side vision, etc. Thanks!

  • I like your reviews very much, Brian. They're realistic, accurate and very informative. You are a genuine rider, that makes it even more special, becuase it's not just to sell smth, but to try it out. I was amazed how badly the expensive GIMOTO 1PC suit held out compared to teknic. Your brused ankle maybe saved lives in that video. Personally I would like to ask you a little favor. Could you please put the helmet on, while doing the helmet reviews?

  • nice vid :)

  • The ICON Helmets do not have the wide appeal many other brands do. Their styling is edgy and driven to a certain demographic for sure.

  • @Sportbiketrackgear witch i fit right into, lol i love there graphics and for some reason fit me better than other brands i looked at

  • That spoiler/wing thing on the back looks so cheesy

  • does the job tho

  • what job is that? create down force, i really dont think anybody needs that thing plus it looks so dumb

  • well, i guess it a personal appeal, some people like it, some dont ;)

  • I own one of these helmets.I'm about 90% happy with it. First the pros: #1 it's a badass design, nothing much else out there like it. #2 The airflow through the helmet is excellent. I live in AZ and that's a biggie. Once you start moving you can feel the hot air being sucked off the top of your head. #3 Fog guard and chin cover are nice. The cons: #1 Remember that nice airflow? Well it makes the helmet quite noisy. For me it's a fair trade off, but others may not like it. #2 It's pretty heavy.

  • If this is anything like the Icon Main frame. It feels like a ton of bricks on your head. I have a Shoei rf-1000. Weather my helmet is actually lighter or not, if feels as if it is.

  • This is not a bad helmet. If this style or graphic appeals to you, then make the purchase. If you are shopping for features, benefits, performance, quality and price in a helmet then we suggest taking a look at the Scorpion EXO Helmets.

  • I'm sad this helmet didn't do too well :(

  • sorry, we do not offer Vega helmets. We have not reviewed this product line

  • do u have any video reviews of vega helmets?
