Those are tame! They are rounded and are not even pointed. There are even "pointed" spurs that are flat on the edges. There are many different spurs, but they all have the same purpose if used correctly. To be used as an extension of your leg to better cue the horse.
And they appear to be rounded, and if so, are tame compared to many that are used. I could pull up a few types of spurs that in comparison would make those spurs in the video look like child's play.
And by pointed I am not talking about pointing up. There are types pointing up that have a ball on the tip or are rounded and that make them much less potentially damaging. When I said pointed I meant sharp tipped.
Believe me, i know what you mean by pointed. I am a dressage rider myself, and sometimes i use spurs with sharp pointed rowells, which also are pointing up. So i know what i am talking about.
But, if you want to convince me by pulling up a few types, be my guest !
Look at her spurs at 0:32, they are very mean.

Those spurs are definately not tame ! They are pointing upward, they are pointed, and that means that this girl is wearing pretty sharp spurs.
But i agree with you, if she uses her spurs correctly, then there is no problem.
