Borderlands "2nd Playthrough" - New Haven - Power To The People (32)

Okay, question. I'm on my second playthrough of this game, and I know that Claptraps are only supposed to give you backpack SDU's in the first playthrough. However, I just "saved" the one in New Haven and he gave me an SDU. I dunno but I saved this guy in my first playthrough.. So idk. Is that a glitch?

Every time you fix a Claptrap you get a backpack SDU. I'm lvl 28 and i have 24 space.

Claptraps are only suppose to give you SDU's in the FIRST Playthrough.

This is the 2nd Playthrough and they're not suppose to give you anymore. They give you random Grenade Mods instead.

The first four claptrap rescues on 2nd playthrough all gave me SDUs. Level 46, I got 52 backpack space :D

I'd say there is a 25%-ish chance you get an SDU on 2nd playthru

I read somewhere Mmac that the Claptraps on the 2nd walkthrough do, on rare occasions, give you SDU's.

A friend of mine has 49 slots because he got a few SDU's on his second playthrough from Claptraps.

I, myself, got zero SDU's on my second playthrough, making my total slots 42... forever. >_>

Wish I could brandon. However, there is no playthrough 3. Only PT 2.5 which is basically everything leveling up to 48, weapons wise, and 50 / 51, enemies wise.

lol, I have a 54 size backpack. In playthrough 2 of the regular Borderlands game, there are 5 claptraps that reward you with the bonus SDU instead of the grenade mod. There is a 10% chance from each Claptrap for getting the SDU though!

@patq911 LOL, sorry about it. I was working on it with the Gearbox forums. I found out the max SDU with all DLCs is 66. I have a backpack of 60, and the other DLCs will give me my 6. It does not take long with extreme patience!
