You have a wonderful style. I am also a Kelly Rae Roberts fan and have taken up this technique as well. Kelly Rae inspired a lot of mixed media collage painters - yet our own styles and personalities come out in its interpretation. No matter how hard I try, my paintings are always more on the tight or realistic side. Kelly Rae's Taking Flight book helped free me up a bit though. Thanks for showing your painting process! I have favorite-ed your video:)

Good job. I like the idea, although i wish we could have seen more of that collage in the background. The butterfly is a little neglected being surrounded by such a harsh outline too. The idea is nice though. Does it represent soaring above past ideas? TRanscending the collage that everyone loves and reaching a new height? What exactly did you have going into this piece?
