In truth the Giganotosaurus is the largest land predator with the Spinosaurus as the largest fish predator. It's all a pointless argument of course but the Spinosaurus is still the largest therapod in its overall size.

I heard spino could run around 10mph and when the wind blows at it, it would slow it down and unbalance it while running at high speed due to its big sail. If he didnt hunt, it would mean he would not have alot of experience in killing and experience is very important in a fight.
Since it's really big and heavy and the sail slowing it down, I would say it still wasn't very fast. I wasn't able to find alot on it's speed on the internet.
Big size doesn't always make something faster, take me for example, Im one of the tallest students in my grade though my speed was above the average, still alot people could run faster than me and they were all alot shorter.

Indeed, the T-Rex would win in a 1 on 1 with most other predators. Giganotosaurus relied very heavily on its group for bringing down prey. Though theres a MASSIVE difference between the two animals were talking about, I think the pure crushing power of T-Rex' jaw is enough to snap a Giga.
