It's personal preference mostly. Typically the wider your stance, the more forward you can keep your toes. The closer your stance the more you are going to have to turn your toes out in order to break parallel.
The reps you do will depend on your strength and conditioning. With bodyweight exercises you should strive to constantly increase your reps on a regular basis.
Incline sit-ups are your favorite ? Masochist ! Kidding good video . I'm trying to learn to love core workouts , which have usually been my least favorite . Funny thing was lifting heavy years ago I got huge arms , chest , biceps , lats , and a nice roll of fat on my lower belly , so I'm re-learning working out .
@FoundersClickMusic Lee probably didn't notice when doing the push ups as it's probably such an easy/light exercise for him that he pushes it up so easily past lock out.
Why are you taking it personally? I didn't mean to negatively criticize you, it was just constructive criticism. The video is good, it's just that you squat too low; your quads should be parallel to the floor and 90 degrees to your tibia & fibula. :)
Don't take it personally dude, I'm just saying that you're squatting too low. Your quads should be parallel to the floor and 90 degrees to your tibia and fibula to prevent knee injuries. Overall nice video though.
Doing fast full squats slowly strengthen your knees preventing knee injuries, just like ab work outs prevent back injuries.
So go that low is good, as long as your balanced and sturdy. if your feet are facing outwards and you're doing low low squats, that can cause knee injuries.
@pureassyrian1 if your gonna say tibia and fibula why wouldn't you compare the angle with the femur....just say legs dude. or atleast keep muscle-to-muscle and bone-to-bone
@pureassyrian1: What a geriatrics-minded myth. Why does squatting too low cause knee problems? It strengthens your glutes, tendons, quads, etc. If you're really into cross training, but some light weight across your shoulders and blast out of this deep squat. If your knees are a problem; try aquacise.
@pureassyrian1 ..wrong! that will not cause knee injuries unless u have underlying problems.. and actually to be more exact, the most unstable part of your knee is a few degrees before u r in a 90degree angle, So there can be a possible injury there if movements arnt performed well.
I do a very similar circuit just by coincidence, but include dips, vertical pullups, handstand pushups on wall, and hyperextensions for the lower back
hey for the squats, are your feet meant to be facing pretty much forward, rather than at an angle like yours are? that's what I have been told
