this song evokes for me the darkness that AIDS cast over the late 80s. i was a young boy going through puberty and entered into a sexual world filled with ominousity, fear, threat and doom. it robbed my sexual awakening of the freedom it might otherwise have had. luckily i had my commodore 64 and bike to play with! lol. This is a haunting song laced with grief, loss and longing. i miss the days of my innocence and pubescent youth. the sun always seemed to shine and the sky was always blue....
