Both her and Justin Guarini were shunned by Idol, but now Idol has gotten back in Guarini's carreer with Idol Extra, but still Diana is probably the worst treated contestant by AI, and I wonder why? If she told them she wanted to come perform on the show they might say yes, but maybe something went down between Diana and AI or rather 19 management. I heard she chose to leave her record label b/c she was unhappy. Wonder what happened

I wish she could be as she's not the only runner-up never have been invited to come back, but it's been 5 seasons...I doubt they will have her on. It's too bad too because she's a heck of a lot better now than she was on Idol.

she was there. she just didn't perform. she was there the last 3 weeks. if you look on the top four week you can see her when they show adam lamberts family lol. i caught it in the corner of my eye. i love how diana is doing amazing she was on idol. three or four broadway shows, now her album is coming out. she is going to be huge when it comes out! this song is amazing, i love it, even though i'm a guy

I respect her as a vocalist, because there is no doubt the girl can BELT, but some of her new songs sound kind of cheesy (like "Pieces")..this song would have to REALLY grow on me! I just wish she would RELEASE her next album or her EP onto iTunes already! It's ridiculous we've had to wait for 5 YEARS!! C'mon! If she couldn't already launch her music career after American Idol, then its beginning to look downhill for her! I

well sara evans songs are cheesy and she has her place carved out. So anything's possible.

Pieces is no more cheesy than any other song in country music. The reason Like I'm Not Even Here works is because while it's a simplistic song, the way it builds and emotion she/the music portray makes you connect to it.
