This whole song was pretty much written by Joe K. Because he released this song under The Follow Through before its called Wait Out the Storm. He has an acoustic demo of it.
The way he says "Because you're the only one that can keep me alive" in 3:38 - 3:42 gets me every time. Really the whole part of 3:18 - 3:42 is just soo amazing, but ESPECIALLY when he says "Because you're the only one that can keep me alive" like I said before. And throughout the whole song, his voice is absolutely so amazing it's not even normal. And the lyrics too. This song is just so amazing. I <3 them sooo much!!
Wow, im suprised no one mentioned the fact that the majority of this song is actually Joe Kirkland's (The Follow Through) song called- Wait out the Storm. Look it up and you will see.
Artist vs. Poet has matured so much even since the Damn Rough Night EP. This song is amazing. I have a feeling this album is going to be the album of my summer : )
