Wax cotton balls with a wick!

You could use a small piece of cotton, I have tried before. I find that if the wax is solid the cotton piece will burn up and not always light the solid stuff.

could you also just take a small piece of the cotton ball and make a wick from it. Wax it just enough to get a stiff piece to use as a wick ??
