The thing that The Zeitgeist Movement, or more specifically The Venus Project, recognizes is that pretty well all our REAL problems in life are technical, not political. Applying the methods of science, rather than political opinion, for social concern has never been tried in history before.

If you notice, the skeptics only argue the points of theory and speculation. Although they are important points that also need to be answered, they nonetheless are just side issues in the big picture.
NONE OF THEM (however) are able to argue the laws of physics in how these buildings hit the ground...PERIOD!

Don't you think it's a bit lucky that the terrorists picked 9/11 (obviously pre-planned because of its great numeration and 'rememberability' (ie anchoring, to use a technical term) and that it just so happened that there were numerous war games that day that took relevant fighter jet assets off line, and that Dick Cheney had passed a bill so that he was the 1st ever non-military man to be incharge of Norad and hence shoot-down that day?

Truthers, I want this question answered:
If 9/11 was planned the gov't and was intended for use as a pretext for war against Iraq (and maybe even Iran), why didn't the government--in planning this huge, elaborate scheme--just "make" some of the hijackers out to be Iraqis and/or Iranians? I mean, why go through all this trouble of planning and executing 9/11, complete with fabrications so it can invade Iraq, without also fabricating some Iraqi identities, complete with links to Saddam?

Please do not believe the turd in the punchbowl tale that the hijackers were found alive. They have never been found alive, and have never appeared on any interview or tv footage after the attack. That was some false info that got distributed in conspiracy circles, mostly by Alex Jones. The Arab press would have jumped on them because the Arab world/press have always gone for the inside job theory. They have never been found, only men with the same names, which are common.

I agree- only people that have become invested in the conspiracy believe the hijackers are still alive. It was a crap story that got distributed in conspiracy circles. If they were alive there'd be about a thousand tv video's and interviews of them. The idea that they're at home right now, munching on a burger is so ridiculous. One guy called Kevin Barrett actually went out there to prove they were still alive, and came back with nothing. Watch out for poor info like that.

Everything regarding the reasons as to "why" is just theory and speculation at this point.
The only reason that so many citizens (like Sheen) are now asking questions is because of the IRREFUTABLE scientific evidence and eye witness accounts that strongly contradict what we were told.
Instead of arguing with each other, EVERYONE should be asking these same questions...and demanding some answers!

Without wanting to be devils advocate, I think most sane minded people are more of the concern that the attacks may have been 'allowed to happen' or got through by some nefarious means. In any case, Bin Laden/islamic jihad did not really have iraqi/iranian recruits. I believe they are mostly saudi/moroccan/algerian.

Truther premise: 9/11 was elaborately planned and orchestrated by the gov't so it could be used as a pretext to launch the "war on terror," including Iraq, and possible a war on Iran.
Problem # 1: The gov't is horrible at keeping secrets. Despite this massive conspiracy, there has not been a single leak, or whisper about it.
Problem #2: The nationality of the "fake" hijackers was actually very inconvenient for the gov't b/c they were Saudis, UAEs, and an Egyptian--all US allies.

It make the event look like an inside job. After the towers cam down, all terrorist groups, and their supporters were put on the "no fly lists."
Because the IRA was listed as a terrorist group, all the people who were know supporters of the IRA would have been put on the list. That was have included many American Irish Catholics. The Democrats knew that they had to get the IRA off the list of terrorists, before the attack on the towers.

It is common knowledge that the IRA was sharing training and intelligence with other terrorist organizations. The IRA was removed from the list just before the New York attack.
