Well, the game looks fun, but despite being in three dimensions, this Sinistar is just not scary at all. His voice sounds silly, and while the arcade game is pants-wettingly fast, this just seems to drag. It looks cool, but it just doesn't have the impact of the original.

the game doesn't make it very clear (to me at least) but from what I understand the Sporg serve the Distilled Evil who want them to help build hyperspace gates that will bring their ultimate weapons in (sinistars) to destroy the terrans (or well...you).

His voice isn't awful I think but not as good as the first, I do like his looks however, though he could have been a little larger, but as for fighting him, he barely did anything :(. I've got to say, I've never played this game before, but... the new Sinistar voice is pretty awful. He sounds more like some kind of cartoony robot pirate than anything else.

This Sinistar is fucked up, all he can do is annoy you and pull you in, he cant even eat you like the original unless you fly right right into his frigin mouth and try to get eaten! he cant even attack, wont follow you for long distances and his tractor beam only pulls you right into his face so you have to look at his poorly made face, that isnt even close to the original art, puls his voice is all gimpy, like when he says run run run, it sound like he is a red neck =/ (Er-run Er-run Er-run)
