@warriorspath123 Lugia has almost no frontal vision, I see mostly through the mouth since the eyes fog up so quickly. I mostly rely on my hearing my my handlers to move around. Groudon has very good peripheral vision through the sides that will be covered by a black screen with tiny holes. I also see well through the mouth. Groudon has the best vision out of any of my costumes actually.

im making a vaporeon costume and im having trouble w the head. i wud like to make a mouth that opens and closes & can squirt water. any thoughts?

@SailorJupiter07 For squirting water you'll need some sort of controlled activation... either opening the mouth to a certain point or a tube that travels to your hand that you can squeeze. You'll need a container to store the water that's easy to get to and a mechanism to squirt the water. This kind of setup would fair better if you had a rigged jaw with a hinge instead of relying only on elastic. You'll need to waterproof the lower jaw to withstand drips. What are your current thoughts?

@DaciaRacine The balaclava? I got it at REI. I've gotten them also online and at Sports Authority in the past... brand is Thermax Headliner. (Make sure you get one that's not fleece/polartec, it needs to be lyrca spandex blend).

The white strapping is wide elastic; it's what allows the jaw to move. The elastic keeps the balaclava tight against my face to better read my jaw movements. It is stretchy so it allows my mouth to open and then the elastic helps pull it closed. ^^
