lol.. nice trick. I was ready to learn how to solve it, then I wanted to check my work, and you stopped the tutorial in the middle of my work. Anyway, you take the derivative of f (x), and plug in 1, which then gives your slope for the equation y-y1=m(x-x1). From there, you plug in 1 into your original function to get 7. Finally, your answer is y=9X-2. This is the slope of the tangent line at x=1 for the function 5x^2-X+3.
